Very good get. This is the type of player CBJ should have took with his first commitment. Type of player that can play in this league!

Ok to any doubters in Ryan Jenkins -

He is from Lassiter High School in Marietta. They're my high school's biggest rival. I went to Kell High School along with our very own Safety, Brian Randolph. Our school has a rich history of having an elite defense. This year the defense was led by 4* CB Brendan Langley. They played phenomenal all season long up until the Lassiter game. Ryan Jenkins was the main focus on defense and most of the time he was double-teamed and still somehow got open. He was a mismatch in almost every way. He was too elusive and was too quick to have in single coverage. He easily read the zone coverages and found ways to get the ball between each zone. This is a smart football player and will blossom in CBJ's offense. He is much faster than they give him credit for.

sorry if this has been asked and answered
but i looked at the 247 timeline (i think it was 247) on this kid and it appeared as if DD and staff never offered him, is that true?
If so thats a little disappointing.

I knew his dad, Lee Jenkins, when I was at UT and he was a solid guy. He, Mike Terry and Reggie White were the strong Christians on the team and great examples. I remember when Lee & Mike were involved with that interception in the endzone against Bama that broke the streak (when was that? 1981?). Really excited about this pickup!

He is .1 point away from being a 4 star on rivals if that matters to anyone.

Take this for what it's worth. but I'm pretty sure he played for Milton for 3 years. The same school that Carl Lawson and Peyton Barber go to. Maybe he'll help sway them here.

Guys, the good news is we didn't pull him from coastal Carolina. We pulled him away from Clemson which is impressive

reading the article it sounded like it wasn't very hard. All he needed was a scholly offer which he never got from Dool's. Awesome pick up though

This commit has us on the 1st page of the rankings. #25 class now. We went from #46 to #25 in a week. If we can pick up Green, Lawson, and Bell, we will have a top 10 class no doubt.

:)Now lets go and get North, then we will be on our way beating that team down south, not talking about a dog either.
