I don't follow. I have said all along that they are two of the best. I think it's hilarious that you are just upset that someone isn't giving bammer credit for having the best corners. Here here! I think getting Wharton to be the first on board and he's a 4* shows that CBJ is not sticking to just the 3* & under kinda guys and has landed someone we'd have most likely missed out on due to how the previous coaching staff went about handling in state talent. Seems he's at least trying to correct that mistake.

Right now what I want is a solid recruiting class that fits our needs. You are not going to flip a majic switch and fix our needs. All that I pointed out was that Bama who is loaded with 5 stars was beaten by a team full of 3 stars that were coached up. Would I love to have a squad of 5 stars? Yes and never said I didn't want them. I want 5 stars that are not of questionable character though. Or you end up with the 5 stars we have gotten lately. The past 4 years we have not landed a single 5 star that I can remember who panned out.

The point is that you pointed to one game that Bama lost but they are still playing for a natl championship and you cannot dispute that fact and the fact that there is a reason for Bama's sustained success under Sabin - Recruinting the best players in the country. And the last time I heard Bama hasnt had any more character issues than any other SEC team - frankly probably less than UT.

So he was out recruiting TN then. We hired a guy who was out recruiting us according to your standard. So either way good job by us to hire a guy who was getting four stars away from us. I like your logic. So we aren't taking recruits away from GA but we are taking recruits away from Cincy but said recruits had chosen Cincy over TN. So technically we are taking recruits back that should have been ours in the first place. Let me ask a question. If Vandy had gotten Wharton then would you have been upset? Would you have said now there is an example of a instate 4* that should be going to UT? You wouldn't have said, there is just another example of how Franklin is turning the state into a Vandy state? I know I would have been ticked if Wharton had gone to Vandy or Cincy? Go butch and suck it all naysayers.

I disagree. He comes off as a bright kid. I have no doubt that he could be the proverbial quarterback of the defense.

I contend that he is a statement player. He's a kid that we haven't been getting from inside the state. Also, I can't believe that we consider a 4* just a yawn recruit when we haven't been getting kids like this for 4 years now.

As of late, I don't know many fans that are supporting one another right now. We are fractured because of the state of the program and there are many different ideas and beliefs about our program. Unlike, bammer where the program is stable and secure right now. Well the mass are more in line with one goal and belief. Check the threads. Not many posters are supporting one another much right now.

3 losing seasons. If you want a team full of 5 stars go pull for Bama. You know the team full of 5 stars that were out played by an A&M team full of 3 stars. Maybe we should go and get some more 5 stars like Brice Brown, Nukeese Richardson, DaRick, or Janzen. See how good those turned out for us. Stars are not everything fellas.

Let's be honest here, Texas A&M had the Heisman winner at QB so let's not act like they have some incredible team without their QB.
