Hart needs to step up and let fans know if Gruden is or is not a candidate. If he is not, we need to know ASAP. Otherwise, fans are not going to be happy when Golden or someone else steps up to the podium. Hart better not F this up.

Two words, Show Clause. Tenn. would have to go in front of NCAA to make a case for Tressel being able to coach. I don't think we need any more involvement with the NCAA right now.

I've watched Tressel over the years. Saw him win 4 national titles at Youngstown State. Saw him build Ohio State to what it is. He has more than proven his worth. Sure he has had issues with the AA but he should be given another chance to atone for his sins. He could make us a rock solid organization in three years easy.

im a fulmer fan...grew up watching him coach, he set the bar to high and got fired after a 8-3 season. now we r praying to get close to that. just get a coach that is sideline worthy, for the love of god lets beat florida. so my wife cousins will shut up! gruden or not..

Worth going to the AA about the show clause to get a proven coach. No longer think Gruden is coming to town. And I don't wanna be stuck with Strong or Jones, or even Golden.

Would not be surprised if we offer Jimbo Fisher now that his DC is gone. Don't think he could hang in the SEC though.

well strong doesnt look like a coach that would have success in the SEC from the looks of the game im watching, golden.. not good and jones...well jones is the best of the two. gruden, im starting to think is a snow balls chance..idk anymore

I agree, but u will catch heat here cause ppl don't want the5 year show cause.. Even tho we wouldn't be close to making the big game in his first 5.. But I think he could definitely win Atleast 9 a year every year..

Bridge water saved him with the shovel pass. It was an improvise on his part. Then lucky with the fumble on the kick return. Imagine that guy running into the defenders helmet with the ball. Bad luck!!!

2014 8-4 with a bowl loss to go 8-5
2015 9-3 with a bowl win to go 10-3

That's 26-13...with say a few big wins over Florida, Georgia, and say maybe a Oregon type win. But of course winning all the games we should win.

Is that acceptable in the next three years?

Well, it goes deeper than wins and losses. We have to have a team that dominates in winning, and challenging in defeat. No matter the outcome. Win or lose, it is never acceptable to see our Vols perform at an unacceptable level,and become the butt of jokes at other programs. I love winning and hate losing just as much as the next guy, but most of all, I want the team to make us proud to be from Tennessee. And we ain't had that in too long a time.
