But he’s not the only one that can’t stand a strong woman.


For the record I stand by what I said about Trump.
He’s exactly what I called him.

I will say that the one part of the criticism that is correct is the idiocy of the Swifties and people that worship celebrities like a cult.

Of course, the Trump supports are doing the same thing with Trump, however.

This song is pretty old and the idea much older. There's something (I believe) hardwired into human DNA that somehow makes it appealing. To the weakest among us it can become nigh all consuming and that's a very bad thing. Oh, and if you find yourself believing only one side has issues with this then you may need some serious self-assessment.

One is an entertainer…..that’s Charles Barkley territory.

She hates Trump and Marsha Blackburn. She encouraged thousands of young women to register to vote. The right hates more people voting, because that means they lose.

She has a nice ear for melody and hooks, but lyrically seems stuck in arrested development. Not familiar with deep cuts, but sampling her hits makes it seem that her tales have mass appeal to a self-absorbed, narcissistic generation.

Gonna watch the Eras concert DVD this week. Maybe it'll change my mind.

its pop music. only thing distinguishing her is that she writes the vast majority of her own stuff.

musically speaking I don't find it compelling at all. Lyrics are ok, but nothing special. and really only ok because of what is there to compare to in pop these days. voice is ok. she doesn't have a ton of range on individual songs, imo. she has a crap ton of songs so that provides what counts as "range", but on an individual song she stays very flat, again imvumo (in my very uniformed musical opinion). her voice never follows what the music is doing, or vice versa.

Taylor Swift threatens legal action against Florida Student who Tracks Her Jet​


Attorneys for Taylor Swift are threatening legal action against the Florida college student who tracks the private jets of celebrities and public figures, including Swift.

Jack Sweeney confirmed to CNN on Tuesday that he received a cease-and-desist letter threatening legal action from attorneys for Swift about the social media accounts he runs that track Swift’s flights. The news was first reported by the Washington Post.

Sweeney operates the accounts on several social media platforms using publicly-available flight data from the Federal Aviation Administration as well as flight signals tracked by individual aviation enthusiasts, and often includes estimates of carbon emissions from each flight he tracks in the posts.
