two guys with cannons...........a bean-pole true freshman and Simms who prepped for the SEC by way of El Camino Comminity College........sorry but i just gotta LMAO! You'd kill to have a Elite 11 MVP, Parade All-American taking snaps in knoxville.


You'll need alot more than DaRick Rogers come this fall. Hell, what makes you so certain he'll even break the 2-deep line up. He played dbl A ball in HS.....not exactly the greatest competition. I bet he's never thrown a downfield block in his life.......not that he would know how. Surely Dooley is smarter than his fanbase but please by all means play him....especially on Oct 9th.

At this point your QB has proven exactly nothing....you're so sure he can play at the SEC level and our QB's can't despite the fact that all 3 have exactly the same amount of starts in the SEC...

And I'll take my beanpole over your midget any day of the week...

And for your info...Bray won the gunslinger award at the Elite 11 camp last year where he was up against 3 of the 5 QB's rated ahead of him per Rivals...in other words...people that know alot more than you thought he had not only the strongest but the most accurate arm in the entire group of elite Qb's...so yeah...we've got that one covered too....

And if Rogers doesn't concern you then why have you made it so clear that you hope he doesn't qualify?

We've got two 4* caliber guys already committed...we're mentioned in the top 3-5 of countless top prospects...

I would agree if you said it'd be tough to get in the top 5 or maybe even top 10...but to say we might not make the top 20 is ridiculous...did you see what the #20 class on Rivals consisted of last year?

I'm sorry but Posey and Harris aren't 4* recruits ...

Be mentioned is one thing but leading is another ...

I ahte Lane Kiffen and Ed Ogre as much as the next guy but they could recruit.

Certainly the school recruits itself but

3 coaches in 3 years and the possiblity of a .500 or worse season in 2010 will make things difficult.

It's not impossible but it's normnal for a coach to struggle in his first full recruiting cycle ...

umm... Jamie Newberg already said Harris is a 5.7 3star or a 5.8 4star.

And Posey has a borderline 4star offer list.

they will both be 5.7 3stars or 5.8 4stars.

we will have a top 15 class imo.

ahhhh but Murray has 18 months in the Ga system where as Bray has only been around since January. I guess that strong and accurate arm didn't impress Dooley this past spring because Bray is listed as a 2nd teamer on your depth chart. If he was such a great prospect why did he only have 3 total offers? That "gunslinger" award apparently didn't gain the admiration or interest of anyone outside of Fresno State and San Diego State :confused:......hell, Kiffin only signed him out of desperation. Nice attempt at misdirection but here are the facts of why I posted that:

You said we wished we had an Elite 11 QB on our roster...

We not only have an Elite 11 QB of our roster but one who won the highest award at the camp...

And you don't have to actually say "I hope Da'Rick doesn't qualify"...it's absolutely clear to anyone on this board that you're wetting your bed at night at the thought that he will qualify

It cracks me up when some kid is so bitter about losing an instate player that he spews his stupidity on a rival's board. Is there seriously nothing better these people can do with their time?

I bet this GA boy said the exact same thing last year about Vol fans and Marlon Brown. I've heard a lot of "we stole him from you" and "we didn't want him anyway" over the last year or so from fans of both schools. Que sera sera.

Seriously? You're saying there's a difference between saying we wished we had an Elite 11 QB and saying that we'd kill for an Elite 11 QB? You're ridiculous...

The gunslinger award is for the strongest and most accurate arm at the camp...what else is there to analyze when it comes to evaluating a QB's abililty to throw passes?

So Bray sucks because he couldn't beat out a guy (yet) with experience playing at a level above highschool?

By that rationale Murray sucks too because he couldn't beat out Cox last year

You better pray Rogers gets injured before Oct. 9th (since not qualifying is clearly not going to happen)...

If a beat up WR corp with a headcase for a QB could torch your secondary last year what do you think a player like Rogers is going to do to them?

Bulletin: UGA has decided not to play Football this year due to an underachieving coach, poor instate recruiting and the fact they again would have to play Tennessee
(who OWNS them).

P.S. Their fanbase is concerned because they again feel they have the best team in the country. (as they rediculously due every year)...

Since the BCS began... SEC-6 or 7 Championships UGA-0....Just Sayin.. LMAO

at least do some research before you make such a statement. There was never any real competition between Murray and Cox. Cox, being a 5th yr senior won the job based on his knowledge of the offense not his athletic skills. Murray also strained his throwing shoulder in early season thus eliminating him from PT consideration. Spin it but as bad as Cox was in several games last yr he was still like the #2 rated QB in the entire SEC.

Rogers was schooled against better competiton....27 yards in the state championship game and like no catches in the under armor game. the kid is a decent athlete but to think he's going to dominate as a true freshman is utterly ridiculous. Your roster is far too depleted and void of experience at key positions to expect such nonsense.

soooooo.......bray didn't win the "MVP award then?
