Yes, that's evident by how long he held onto Martinez. He had to get rid of that guy. You're right though, at least our Fulmer got us a NC. Talk to me when he actually lives up to some preseason hype.

You're right. There's no comparison at all except for your players' arrests, hanging onto assistants too long, failing miserably to live up to preseason hype, failing to beat Florida, having a high winning percentage for the first few years then sucking for several consecutive years, failing to develop players, having highly rated recruiting classes and being mediocre, etc. Other than that, they're completely different.

And we dont want Tuberville here, we are Tennessee we should recruit the best of the best and atleast be in contention with them. Not recruiting 3 stars and let CDD "coach em up", that philosophy doesn't work in the SEC.

Well its almost June and we have 2 guys, none of which are of significant rank (or will be). You can't say you're not worried either, because we aren't competing with the likes of Tulane here, we are going up against LSU/Bama/UF/UGA/AU in recruiting!

Speaking of Tulane, they are probably out recruiting us. Dooley better get it going or UT's football program is about to hit rock bottom (HELLO VANDERBILT)

No offense UTfanatic98 but you need to stop....every time I get on here you and that SMG cat just HATE.

When I first started Gracie Jiu-Jitsu I would get so nervous when I'd have to spar a blue belt or higher rank....I'd rush and try to out muscle my opponent and burn myself out withing the first minute or so of sparring. Then a wise man named Royce approached me and said, "easy brother smooth is fast." There was no need to rush and freak out in the beginning....get it.

We'll get O-line and D-line recruits...and skilled position players....just because CLK isn't making our program a joke in the news everyday doesn't mean CDD is sitting in Phil's old black and orange office reading MAD magazine....the man and his staff are doing work.

All we talked about was that punk Markeith Ambles last recruiting cycle....Da'Rick Rogers and Justin Hunter were not on the map....Dooley, Baggett, Thompson, and Chaney got busy and boom they are Vols....James Stone was Rolling Tide until CLK tucked tail and ran. We have an N.F.L. O-Line coach in Hiestand that put kids in the N.F.L. when he was at Illinois....and the beast himself "The Sackman" Chuck Smith....need I say more?

Let the staff do their thing....quit hating....start supporting (and if more than one person tell you your hating then odds are you are).....and always remember "Smooth is Fast!" I'd just do what Royce advised man....

Same thread, different day. Chill, it's very early. This staff is playing catch up. The only schools that have a lot of commits early are the ones that have a lot of talent instate.

there's nothing that we can do in this situation, so we have to relax and watch the situation unfold for now.

No matter what happens with Richt we'll never be in as bad a shape has things have gotten in Knoxville. The situation is so bad you've been reduced to seeking gradification through others misfortune. Would Richt's firing really be that pleasing for you? Can't say I blame you though, I'd divert my attention elsewhere too if I were standing in your shoes. my, my, my, how the U of T has fallen.

Exactly. I'm no big Dooley fan (perhaps yet), but there's a guy who'd clearly be lower on my list of HC's.

How I wish UGA could get him back, clone him, and ship the clones to UF and Bama. That would have me joining the Kool-Aid crowd in a hurry!

I seriously lol'd at this. As bad as it is in Knoxville, we are still running the score up on the Dawgs and stealing 3 of the top 11 players (#1 overall player, #1 OL, #2 RB) from the Dawgs home state while the Dawgs only got 4 of em lol.
