Don't these threads ever stop?! Come on guys, Most big commits don't come until the fall and more and more guys are waiting til february to commit cause they like the publicity.

Lame fail threads, I don't even know why I bother getting on here until the fall.

It's not that he needs help. What it is is that he is a true vol fan and you're a pretender. Stop telling him to breathe and just start supporting his opinion. He's only pointing out a real concern. I don't see you telling the Dooley haters to just breathe and chill out... :question:

I know it's early, but the sun is going to burn out in 12 million years. What are we going to do? The truth is Alabama, LSU, Florida, USC and whoever else you want to bring up has signed just as many players as UT has - which is zero. If there is anything, anybody should learn from the recruiting process, it is that commitments mean nothing. Until that name is signed on the LOI, it means nothing. Let Coach Dooley coach a few games and let the potential recruits see how he handles his players in game situations and then we can start talking about recruiting. Very few top players will "commit" to a program sight unseen. Just sit back and enjoy the summer.

You all are investing a whole lot into getting early recruits.. I don't know about you, but I have seen how easy it is for recruits to change their mind the day before NSD. All that matters are the commitments on that, and I stand behind Dooley and I am confident enough to say you will be pleased.

And what would you have us do? Cut our cars in half with a hacksaw? You need to learn not to get too worked up over things you have no control over; it ain't healthy. Signing day is NINE MONTHS away, and based on what Dooley and staff accomplished in one month LY, I think the doomsday theory is a bit pre-mature. Recruits want to see coaching results before committing--so the Vols' performance this season will tell the tale on the next class. I will be more interested in who SIGNS next February---than who commits in May.

Just be thankful that you actually have nothing to worry about. This is just a game and I have a feeling Dooley will do fine.

Tenn will get it's share of athletes. I think most are taking a wait and see approach with Dooley till after the season. Can you blame them for not wanting to jump on a sinking ship? Obviously Kiffin's billboards aren't working anymore. :w00t:

It doesnt matter til they sign. Go to scout and just look at how many of the top recruits are at least considering us. A huge amount we are going to get our fair share.

Dooley has said multiple times that signing day will be huge for us. (I know you're thinking, wow that was earth shattering news). This past year signing day really didn't mean much to us because besides James stone, not one of our 2010 signed players was undecided. This year it appears that Dooley is going to get a bunch of signatures from undecided players on signing day. I only expect about 15-20 commits leading up to signing day. Dooley is going to close like a freight train with this class on NSD.

fulmer 2.0.........is that suppose to be unsettling? Richt has never had a losing season at Ga or a Natl Title.....where's the comparison? He hasn't lost control of his players and Cmr had the balls to actually fire personel when it became obvious they could not get the job done. As much as you want Richt to fail Fulmer-like...... it isn't gonna happen.
