The crowd is going to be absolutely fired up for the UK and Auburn games and we are undefeated at home this season. I wouldn't be shocked if we won one or both games. TBA is a difference maker.

He's already precautiously padded both ends of the argument.

He'll beat himself to death patting his own back if the team succeeds, claiming we were always top 10 talent, or he'll apply the same level of self-righteousness in telling us how bad a job Barnes did if they "fall flat in March". And of course, he gets to dictate the definition of falling flat.

In short, he will never say Barnes did a good job with these guys unless he manages to win a title. Even then, he'll credit the players and suggest in some way they did it in spite of their coach. He hates Barnes and is trolling hard. End of story.

Yes, I thought other teams would finish better than they seem to be. I also expected them to be a 6. Yes I was wrong on a few things. They figured it out, but I also had said this was a top 10 talented team, and it is.

Literally makes no sense. You expected a top 10 talented team to finish outside the top 4 in the sec and be a 6 seed. I’m so confused.

Based on the coaching. I thought all year long the talent on this team was much better than it had been playing. I thought the coaching was holding this team back and would have them finishing much lower than they should. I also expected better out of other schools in the conference.

That is crazy high expectations for a team with half the roster true freshmen and the 8th a transfer sophomore that missed 2/3rds of his freshman season with a head injury. An Elite 8 means that only 4 teams out of 350 had a better result in the NCAAT.

So you’re saying Barnes is doing a great job coaching this team compared to the other SEC coaches?
