Yup, with State losing last night if we win against them Tuesday just about guaranteed a Top 4 finish and makes our games with Arkansas huge. This next game is huge, imo. If UT beats MSU on the road, then 17-6, 8-3, in the SEC. Depending on tonight's game against the Hogs, we bury 'em, or take a 1 and a half game lead, with head to head in our favor. Btw, Mizzou beats A&M. Still, biggest game of the year, once again, imo
Gotcha, it’s a heart reaction, however, I feel like this team could potentially have the same feel as the 2018-2019 team. All experienced, good year before, better year the next. Esp if we can get KC back..Fulky will be gone, I would say Bailey is a possibility, Chandler is more likely to go than not but his stock is slipping some so, I wouldn’t say it’s a guarantee he’s gone, but likely gone.
I think where Keon and Jaden has the upper hand over KC is that they both could get to the rim and finish through contact. Keon could get up with the best of them and Jaden had a big enough frame to ground-n-pound in the paint. KC sometimes has issues finishing through contact simply because he’s shorter and has a smaller build. However, he is the better “true PG” compared to Jaden. There’s no telling nowadays where he could possibly get drafted but KC has had issues from time to time turning the ball over and knocking down shots/free throws. There’s no doubt that another year would help him but money talks (especially to younger guys) and that money won’t be available if he potentially stays and gets hurt. Hopefully that would never happen and he stays another year to develop even more. And by no means am I saying KC isn’t a great ball player because he might be one of the only “true” PG’s we’ve had in a while besides maybe Bone.If KC looks at Keon and Jaden ... he will realize that ...1) He may be able to get a contract, 2) He can and will be developed, 3) He might get traded, and 4) His minutes will be limited.
The stats below are all FIRST YEAR stats ( I think they reflect the level of development of the player coming out of college ) - It is difficult to compare value ... points are not a great comparison of value.
Games played and minutes on the floor - are the truth tellers.

I acknowledge that the sooner KC gets started the sooner he can get paid big $$$$. I have no knowledge about the depth of the draft this year versus next year.
I think KC will be much more ready after another year at the college level and I think his conversation with TJ means he has a lot to learn and that is the reason that Barnes arranged for them to have that time together.
His shot and free throws are addressable at either level.
The thing that needs the most attention and needs to be developed further through on the floor with minutes played is "floor vision and control." (imUo)
