Somebody with knowledge of the financials of the NFL might be able to answer this, but...

How much money should Brady Quinn expect to lose after slipping from the 4th overall pick to the 22nd pick??

he can't "lose" money he wasn't being offered.

personally, I don't think rookies should be given multi-million dollar contracts.
 
OK, since apparently some people want to be difficult, I'll ask it a different way.

For anybody with true knowledge of these things, how much less money should we expect Quinn to receive being the #22 pick vs. the expected #4...???

The best info I have found isn't great. Andre Johnson got a 6 million dollar signing bonus at #3 in 2003, and Rex Grossman was picked #22 and got a 2 million dollar signing bonus and a 250,000 dollar contract
