Nico getting contacted by other P5 Schools?

ya, Hypel is making 9mil a year. He doesn’t give a **** what you think.
He has a criteria that he’s following. You’d need to understand what he’s doing to understand why he does it.

We’ve got nfl QBs saying that his system is genius and it takes a long time to grasp it….but sure he’s just playing favorites with who he picks to run it.

Good lord
Im on board with everything you are saying. But, this narrative gets derailed by all the college analysts that keep hammering home this is a QB friendly system thats a half field read offense. This doesnt prepare you for NFL blah blah blah bs. Alot of people on this board still think every good player is like Josh Dobbs. A person who didnt practice well but was a totally different player in the game. That simply isnt the case. You play how you practice. Joe misses throws in practice too. What you are seeing in the game from Joe is what he doesnt in practice aswell. So think to yourself, if he is doing this in practice, just how ready is Nico? Hell the kid might be a bust. WE DO NOT KNOW THAT. All we can do is speculate.

I'm not saying JH doesn't know who to start either. When you said HH looked like he should be the backup right out of the gate....unless you we're watching practices then I couldn't disagree more. He looked much more in command of the offense, more accurate and better at running from the get go to me. His first four starts he threw 11 TDs and zero pics while completing roughly 70% of his passes.
It’s fine to have a different opinion clearly Hypel had a different opinion too. It wasn’t freaking daddy ball like some claim.

Major football programs are sniffing around high profile players of another major program.

Next up in the news, water is wet.

If he goes....he goes. Tough to get too attached to players or coaches in today's climate.
It's a little different now though. He has taken money to come here. He better damned well stay here and he better damned well perform.

I gave up hoping the backup is a star a long time ago. I’ve had that beaten out of me. This coach isn’t the last one. He actually knows what he’s doing and is able to articulate that in his practice reports. I’ll take his word for it. We’re actually at a point of winning instead of hoping we make a bowl

Correct good Sir.

How do you know Hooker was better from day 1? As in the first day of fall practice?
Just look at the numbers of each QB before both got to UT. Hooker had done scored 38 TD’s while Milton had 5 passing TD’s with 6 interceptions prior to coming to UT. The numbers didn’t lie. Even after we all seen Hooker take over, it was obvious immediately who was the better QB.

It would be sooooo Tennessee for him to leave.......if he does do we get to take back some money?

WE being UTAD has nothing to do with NIL money or contracts. If WE are the private businesses Nico has contracted with for NIL $s then it would depend on what the terms of that contract are. I've not seen any NIL contracts myself. Maybe others have and can expound on them for us.

If he was soooo good? Why transfer? Numbers dont tell the whole story.

You’ve convinced me. Hypel doesn’t want to win. He’s here to play his buddies. You agree that everyone thought Milton should start but in spite of that Damn that Hypel for playing the better prepared guy when it was clear that Milton was the guy. But obviously Hooker had more talent so Hypel should play potential instead of the guy he thinks gives us the best chance to win.

It’s obviously daddy ball.

Lolololol
I don’t know what it is. But I know the offense moved smother and more effectively as soon as Hooker took over.

Nico didnt get 8mil upfront. He has to honor his side of it to recieve it. I think its like 2mil a year or something like that. If he leaves he wouldnt be able to honor his side of it here in terms of signings and appearances.

And yet he still threw the game sealing INT.
Don’t forget that he came in snd UT was down. 1.5 quarters UT only had 10 points and scored 1 TD. When he come in he led UT to 4 TD’s in 2.5 quarters. I do believe if he starts that Pitt game, we don’t start slow and win that game.

There is a location clause in his contract. So if he leaves Knoxville, he doesn't get another dime.

Then you've missed your calling. You're able to read QBs better than Josh Heupel, who is known for coaching QBs.

If you're not at least making in the high six figures as a QB coach, you definitely should be because you're elite in your observations.

Stop wasting your time on VN and start following your gift.

He transferred because Justin Fuente is a dumbass. The story is Fuente thought the offense was missing something so he benched Hooker in favor of someone else so he bolted.

So you are looking for moral victory then?

I know it is a silly comparison but when I play NCAA Football video game and struggle with QB, I find it to be more of an issue with WRs not able to get open or be in right spot than the QB. Are we sure it is all on the QB? We had a pretty damn good WR core last year as well.

I thought we would be better after watching that Clemson game but Clemson was a fraud (they are not good). We are an alright team and can finish 2nd or 3rd in SEC East. That is still better than past years.

stopped reading here.
Go look at the game threads.
Hooker wasn’t the better QB at the time. He just wasn’t. I get that y’all have a narrative and want that to be true so it would prop up a conspiracy that Nico Ivermectin (the savior) is being kept on the bench. But just like then, the people actually watching practice now know why it’s still Milton and not Nico.
You do understand typing nonsense doesn’t make it true? Hooker went 15-21 for 188 yards and two TDs in the Pitt game - that’s a 71.4% completion rate. He had a QB rating of 168.5 for that game. Remind me all the times Milton had a 71% completion percentage against a Power 5 team? Or a 168.5 rating? I’ll give you a hint: never.

I already listed five different games Hooker threw for three TDs that year, something Milton has done a whopping once his entire career. That stat alone proves he was on a different level than Milton from the day he became the starter.

Stop lying.

If Nicco could get the same money and go home and play in a conference where defense is not played to any high level then why not ? There are a lot of QBs in the Pac 10 with big numbers and high draft value from playing in a low defensive league. Who's defense would you rather face Georgia-Alabama or pick a Pac 10 team. Just saying. Nothing may happen at all.
