This season is over and the focus needs to shift over to getting ready for next season. There is 7, 8 or maybe even 9 wins left on this schedule and that is regardless of who starts at QB.We arent starting Nico yet. There's an entire season to play for. If we get to Missouri and lose. Then its time to set the boat on fire and start over.
If kid doesnt want to sit snd believes he is entitled to start elsewhere then hes better off elsewhere.
I followed his and his Brothers recruitments closely. I am near 100% certain that this is a stupid ass internet rumor.
He stays, and he's a day 1 starter next year.
His brother loves it here. He CHOSE to come here, had offers from everywhere else - knowing Milton was the guy. Kid is waay too smart. waay too mature to fall for this.
Gotta love the FF.
Man, what the hell are you talking about ?This season is over and the focus needs to shift over to getting ready for next season. There is 7, 8 or maybe even 9 wins left on this schedule and that is regardless of who starts at QB.
These new kids are mercs and they will go to whoever gives them the most money and best chance to compete for the starting spot.
100%Yeah. Even in the 0.0001% chance he leaves, there would be a plethora of great QBs wanting to come here. We would generate unseen interest from both portal transfers and the best high schoolers. Heupel was a national championship QB and has an innovative offensive mind. He knows WTF he is doing with QBs. That's the least of my concerns, none being worrisome
QB Jamelle Holieway, Oklahoma (1985),
QB Chad Henne, Michigan (2004),
QB Philip Rivers, NC State (2000),
QB Robert Griffin III, Baylor (2008),
QB Josh Rosen, UCLA (2015), QB Peyton Manning (1994), Clemson QB Trevor Lawrence (2018), Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa (2017).
It has been done and will be done in the future!
Manning played because others got hurt as did Tua at Alabama who came in for the injured Hurts. I don't care enough to look up the careers of the other qb's you listed but starting due to injury is much different than choosing to start a true freshman over others. Yes it happens but it isn't as common as most think and usually isn't a recipe for success
I wonder if you guys could tell me who should be starting next year if Nico loses a couple of games? This season is over and the focus needs to shift over to getting ready for next season. There is 7, 8 or maybe even 9 wins left on this schedule and that is regardless of who starts at QB.

Im talking about starting Nico right now, so I dont have to sit and watch him win a Heisman and championship for another school next season.
I wouldn’t count on a “plethora” of great QB’s coming here just because of Heupel. I can see having the opposite effect if Nico leaves. Remeber Heupel played Milton over Hooker, and it took Milton getting hurt for Hooker to get his shot. And now Milton is playing over Nico. So what if Nico does leave because he thinks he’s better and didn’t get a fair shot? Do you think other top QB’s won’t think about that also? It could be looked at, no matter how good you are, if you’re a freshman or transfer, you don’t have no chance to play over a less talented QB that has been there already and is/or a Heupel recruit. Milton was a Heupel guy and he told everyone he was better than Hooker that’s why he started over Hooker. But we all seen how obvious it was when Hooker entered the game and it wasn’t even close.Yeah. Even in the 0.0001% chance he leaves, there would be a plethora of great QBs wanting to come here. Are you really judging him by the proper pronunciation of his name? How did you ever lift up that rock you live under? Good Job! That's got to be a heavy MFerWith a last name like: I am a leava, we should have seen it coming. What if he's just not that good? I've been curious about that given the drop-off at QB and him not having got more of a look.
I think every Freshman QB that's is/was a 5 star or high 4 star are getting contacted through different 2nd & 3rd parties. TB needed clicks & he got'em ,probably guy in Texas doing same with Arch and on & on. I think ppl know its happening everywhere its just not news. College football recruiting NIL etc. is a sleazy part of sports gutter level.not sure why so many are bashing Tony B about this news... if you think it hasn't happened, you're kidding yourself
