Anyway there's no way Nico goes pro early. He needs way more work. He can get there I'm sure but I expected him to not look like Milton 2.0 ever in his career.

That's all I'll say in it. Bring on Bama.

Quinn Ewers completed 52% of this pass in year 1 with 14 TD and 6 INTs .. next year made astronomical jump where he could have gone pro … Hooker had lights come on in 4th year ..
Selective stats are stupid.

I wish I had a dollar for every 5 star recruit who didn't pan out at the major college level. Not a reflection on the player, but that's life.

Nico looked amazing in the first few games until he started getting hit and rattled by SEC defenses. With (hopefully) better line play and more experience, he'll be a really good QB for us.

People forget that Hooker had already started in college at Virginia Tech before getting to UT. And it still took a year playing in the system for him to get to where he was playing the way we expect Nico to play as a redshirt freshman.

Fellow posters…mellow out. All 11 players have a stake in a successful offense or defense.Nico needs to improve, OL needs to improve, WRs need ti improve, Sampson….thank God for Dylan Sampson.

A glaring example was the last 1:00 of the ARK game. We had a running back wide open in the flat as the "hot option" yet Nico opts for a pass to the TE that required a much more difficult pass which he overthrew. You are not serious if you think all of our pass routes are 15-20 yards down field. That is ludicrous. This is not EA Sports!

Nico will ball out against this Alabama defense and all these negative posts will be forgotten. Kane Wommack has never faced an offense as unconventional as ours, that will be a big factor in our offenses success. Milroe will throw a crucial interception and cost Bama the game. I see a moderately high scoring, tight game. UT 30 UA 27

He is very talented, very young and inexperienced. He doesn't make all good decisions but he needs to learn and takes his lumps. I believe we will see an improved Nico against Bama!

Are people really that ignorant of how the NFL draft works? Nico right now looks like years ahead of Anthony Richardson after year 3 at Florida. He was drafted with the 4th overall pick because he has size, a big arm, and can run. Nico has all those things in spades and his waaaaaaaay more accurate than Richardson. Nico, barring injury, will be a top 10 pick whenever he comes out. Likely after next season.
