Nicolas Saban

Let the meltdown in the Tuscaloosa trailer parks commence. Bama will wonder in the wilderness for years hopefully like they did post Bear Bryant. No matter who they hire they can never live up or match the expectations of the Saban era. Was hoping we could beat the guy one more time before he left but it’s still a good day he’s finally gone. I expect Bama will go after Sark or Kiffin.

The funeral going on in Tuscaloosa right now is epic
So, if you were the next big thing in coaching and were offered both Mich and Ala, which would YOU choose?
both schools will need a guy with a big ego, no way you follow Saban and a coach that just won a Natty without a lot of confidence

No, you were trying to argue that Bama doesn't get calls when they "matter." When what you really mean is that the refs missed one specific penalty in the UT game.
It's more than one specific penalty. Where was the targeting on that dirty hit on Daniels in the LSU game. I can find plenty more.

Get out of here with the "Bama doesn't get favorable officiating" BS.

The cheating little midget took the easy way out. Couldn’t buy the best players anymore and have a unfair advantage with the NIL and transfer portal. It was embarrassing seeing this guy turn into a huge whiney ass baby crying about it the last couple of years haha. Let the meltdown in the Tuscaloosa trailer parks commence their God Saban is leaving them lol. Love it Go Vols!!

I've had 2 players tell me that a hire has already been made. Didn't say who, but it was apparently communicated by Saban.

He owes his national media career in large part to him. I'd be crying too - lol.

If Saban never came to Alabama, Paul is still probably a local Birmingham radio guy.
He pretty much confirmed this during halftime of the TN basketball game. Said his show was on AM radio before Saban. A few weeks after Saban was hired, he moved his show to FM and his ratings quadrupled. Pretty much set him on the path to where he is today.

His rise was meteoric and the definition of a late bloomer. I consider myself a huge college football fan basically since birth, but I was outside of his original footprint. I didn't even hear of Paul Finebaum until probably 2012 or 2013.

I’m wondering if he woke up yesterday and just figured he was done. Didn’t have the energy anymore, tired of coaches leaving every year, the portal.
