He's struggled quite a bit this offseason and didn't look too hot in a recent camp that he was at. Now the potential is still there, but there's still a good amount of work to do.

I don't expect Rutgers to put much if any type of NIL into this one, while he was fishing around for NIL, his options are drying up as well.

If other good schools were looking at him, I’d think the same. But if he’s about to commit to Rutgers it seems like a him thing. Other schools must have backed off as well.

I was getting ready to say the same thing. What happened? I mean he isn’t playing any football right now. Did he camp somewhere and just look horrible?

Is there an actual legs to him no longer being a take or is it just speculation at this point?

On Thursday of last week AP said.

Jaelyn Matthews is still loving him some orange.

Which someone responded - “But are the TN coaches still loving him”

And AP replied

“I don’t know why they wouldn’t”


So to me thus far we may all be taking Rutgers sour grapes and running with it. But I haven’t heard anything directly myself.

I think the war room may give us a hint if there is a real update.

Many folks around here turn on kids if they express any interest at all in another school.
