Yep. I have decided that I have given Brooks Conrad too much of a free pass, though. There should have been a better player at second, but the guy is a grown man who has made a career out of playing baseball. Catch the damned ball.

BTW, Lowe and Hudson deserve a lot of love. Those guys rose to the occasion on the biggest stage. Both pitched absolute gems, and both were wasted.

Plus, Huff hits lefties well so there was really no advantage in bringing in Dunn. I'd have rather just took my chances with our filthiest reliever. What an awesome sports weekend...fml.

Agreed. If I have had a problem with Cox its that he has a quick hook and plays the match up card too often. It has cost him in the playoffs on more than one occassion!

Just came out and there are some very notable changes:

1. Infante 2B
2. Diaz LF
3. Lee 1B
4. McCann C
5. Gonzalez SS
6. Heyward RF
7. Glaus 3B
8. Ankiel CF
9. Lowe P

Still not great, but with the exception of maybe sticking Hinske in LF, that is probably the best lineup combination that the Braves are capable of at this point.

I like that lineup. I've been begging for Infante at 2b and Glaus at 3rd. Glaus can't be a bigger liability in the field than Brooks E-4, and atleast he can do something with the bat.

Also,I like Diaz against the lefty Bumgardener. Hinske can come off the bench when we get to their pen.

Exactly. If Cox was planning on giving Kimbrel the hook to play matchups, he shouldve saved Venters for the 9th instead of rolling the dice with Dunn.

The radio guys nailed it last night when they said that the feel of the stadium went from rock concert to a large funeral in a span of 5 minutes.

Faced Madison Bumgarner for 3 years of high school and know his Father... Kid was the definition of unhittable in High School. Best player I've ever played against, including Dustin Ackley.

I wish him the best. here's to a good game.

ANOTHER bad call that costs the Braves a run!? This is unbelievable.

Buster Posey must have pictures of all the umpires with goats or something.

There aren't a lot of teams who would play good defense if you whacked two of their starting infielders in the last six weeks of the season.
