First of all, he's from Henry County; not Cobb. Second of all, I agree that he takes too many pitches, but Paul Emmel was just awful behind the plate tonight (to go along with the blown calls in game 1 and game 2). He squeezed Sanchez and Hudson early in the game and then went Eric Gregg in the bottom of the 9th inning. Nobody had any idea where the edge of his strike zone was.Ok, so is Heyward EVER going to learn that he has to swing if it's close?
He's an f-ing rookie and just because every adult in Cobb County got on their knees for him growing up, MLB umps won't until he proves something.
