NLDS: Reds vs. Phillies

There are zero teams that would have beaten Halladay today...

I agree. Ubaldo no-hit the Braves earlier this year, it happens. Just sick of condescending reds fans who fail to realize edison volquez, bronson arroyo, and johnny cueto aren't coming close to gettin it done.

Division pride must be like conference pride in college football. Here's a hint: the Phillies being dominant in no way says good things about any other NL East team. Just like Alabama killing everyone doesn't mean the Vols are any good.

How did you get that out of my post, I said nothing about it being good for the NL East. The guy is a Braves fans, just as I am. I was referring to our team, the Braves, that he would have no hit us tonight. Not sure really how you got what you got out of my post.

That's rich coming from a jerk-off who's favorite team had the same record as the Braves despite playing a much weaker schedule.
Listen, I promised Freak I was going to quit incinerating trash like you who root for sewer teams in cities that were better left burned to the ground. Don't make me go back on my word.

I thought the same thing. You were... admitting that he would've dominated you in the same fashion? Haha. I got you.

I was actually talking about the way the other guy laughed at the NL Central.

How many time did Greg Maddux, Tom Glavine, John Smoltz and the rest of those future Hall of Famers get it done for the bandwagon trash that couldn't sell out World Series games? I'll give you a hint: The same number as Jose Rijo, Danny Jackson, and Tom Browning.

I think his post was directed at me. Tennessee plays alabama once, that's one loss. Same for Florida, Arkansas, whoever else they play. The Braves play the Phillies 18-19 times. The Reds, Giants, Padres, etc. do not. That was my point.

And yeah Halladay more than likely would have beaten us (the Braves) tonight.

Hahahahaha. Braves fans? Bandwagon???

Never has one team been so blindly supported by an entire region of the country.

Do you have these saved in a Word document and just copy/paste them over? Hit me with the same ol' re-runs, I won't cry to Freak.

Yeah, supported so well they had to cut prices in half for tickets to Baseball's version of Marv Levy's farewell weekend to get people to show up. Real fanatical support those Braves fans.

Would that also be the same number that a rotation including Anthony Reyes, Jeff Suppan, and Jeff Weaver won?

Quick, tell me where the Reds rank in attendance. Top 5, right?

Condescending? I have had nothing but praise for the Braves and most of their fans all year. You are just dumb. Have fun with that

I was on your side there, Hat.

Blindly supported as in... Not a lot of knowledge of the team, Scream the name Chipper a lot... and not much else.

90% of them wouldn't recognize Dale Murphy if he showed up on their doorstep to discuss the Book of Mormon at 8 A.M. on a Saturday morning.

More than likely? With that strike zone, Halladay would have beaten the AL allstars without breaking a sweat

Go to Turner Field and just insult Chipper and yell things about him for 9 innings. You will never have more fun.

When a pitcher was dominating the way Halladay was, his strike zone will expand, no matter what team you are on.

Scream the name Chipper a lot.
That's because a good portion of them believe he's the one who went home with their second tier stripper mothers after one of the Braves' myriad of playoff or World Series failures and created yet another mental midget for Fulton County Child Services to deal with.

Sit back, have some whiskey (scotch for you hat, with that vast bank account and all), it'll be okay. Sun will rise tomorrow.
