Really? Who would have thought?:dance2:
Really? Celebrating? I'm a huge Vol fan, but I also work in downtown Knoxville. I don't want anyone carrying around unregistered handguns and I don't want them to get a break just because they are getting a free ride to a great school. We have to be better than this. Its just sports, its not worth looking the other way. These guys should go. I don't care about their story, I'm tired of cheering for stupid kids.

I don't see anything wrong with carrying a gun hell i do! I do have a permit for it tho. As long as they wasn't the one's with the drug's I wan't em at UT. Def. Smith he's a big part of our program he needs to stay away from the Drugs and if he dont he's a DUMB ASS and need's to be of the team other than that GO VOLS!
I'm pretty certain that there would be no problem here if these guys had a permit to carry. I might be wrong but I'm guessing they didn't and it wouldn't matter if drugs were involved. I assume that there are laws against that just like alcohol and guns.
These guys need to be gone if these reports are accurate regardless of what it does to the team. We will be fine without them.
I like how everyone jumps to the conclusion that somehow they got reduced charges because they were athletes. I don't condone legal weapons or drugs but let the justice system work before we throw the boys out or accuse the cops of cheating. Sometimes being high profile athlete hurts you and something a non athlete would have gotten a ticket for an athlete gets much more. Ask plexico buress.

Oh, sorry. Let me try again -- darn, I was hoping they would all be facing felony charges and get kicked off the team....too bad they didn't do something worse.
Better?
Charging them accurately doesn't equal looking the other way.
If we dismissed all the stupid kids, we wouldn't be able to field a team in BB or football. We arent' talking about the debating team here.

:clappinglease, Please be a man of your word and add this to your vow; I will never visit Volnation again.lol:lol:lol:God bless a voice of reason. Finally. Some of our fans would look the other way if they shot their own families. I havea good friend who was killed in a drinking and driving accident. I don't think it is a bit funny, and nor will I celebrate, or welcome them back. They are reckless, unappreciative, disrespectful, immature punk kids in my book. You all can celebrate them coming back if you want to, but I will go to no more games, and watch no more UT basketball unless they are gone.
