Many girls are into that stuff, why marginalize them as only wanting to play with Barbies and wear tiaras?
"Boy" Scouting won't be for all girls for many it will be a great way to learn values, give back to their community and develop skills. Scouting ultimately is fun with a purpose.
It's bizarre, (perhaps it shouldn't be)to see a group of people who are usually yapping about the moral decay of our society poo-poo on half of our population having an opportunity to learn what it means to be a good citizen.

Fletching might be the wrong skill they are thinking about to be a good citizen..
