OK, I'll step back a bit from my suggestion that no speech-related rules are going to change. Clearly, we're seeing social media companies change on their own.

What I was dismissing was the notion that we're going to see a hyper-partisan bill rammed through Congress to silence "conservatives." Could there be more administrative regulations, or a broader, bi-partisan law passed? I suppose.

As an aside, in the grand scheme of things, did the Patriot Act really change the "free speech" landscape much?

I never said "silence conservatives." However, I'd bet pennies to dollars the definitions of domestic terrorist gets altered hugely. And don't forget about the notices that went out during the Obama years about the "radicalized" conservative they should have a watch for.

The left already gets it's panties in a wad over someone who owns three firearms and a few hundred rounds of ammo. I'd imagine that'll be an "indicator" as well.
