I am torn...but when platforms surpress free speech we get a CNN platform with no debate. Seen too many Dem tactics on college campuses and other platforms to say that is healthy.
Otherwise what is the point of social media?

What did he do that made him deserve a ban over countless others? Intentionally silencing the leader of the free wold because of a BS reason is 100% wrong.

Does it matter? Sure, other people deserve a ban but it didn't make him any less deserving. That's an argument my kids make when they get busted

Does the FCC have the power to remove complicit tv stations like Fox News and oan?
At least hold them more accountable with large fines for peddling baseless falsehoods.

I don't have a Parler account but my wife does. Waiting for her to tell me if it's been shut down.

It's not going to end at Trump. From this moment on, any Republican or Conservative who announces they will be running for office will have their accounts censored or deleted and anything allowed to be posted will be marked by fact checkers.

I don't envy the content moderators on big social media sites. This is an example of a hard case making bad law, as the legal adage goes.
