No More Tweeting for Donny

You avoided the question. Should they be forced to give him an account?

Of course not! However, did you see their reasoning for the suspension? It boils down to his two Tweets today being assessed as TOS violations due to “glorification of violence,” and that’s both embarrassing and absurd.

Twitter just needed to say “we looked the other way for four years but, upon further review and consideration, we do not feel that Trump has a place on our platform.”

Does it matter? Sure, other people deserve a ban but it didn't make him any less deserving. That's an argument my kids make when they get busted
This is what has gotten us in this mess to begin with. He's the president hes supported by almost half of this country. Part of the problem is one side or the other doesn't feel like there voice is being heard. Silencing him is taking the voice away from a whole lot of people while the other side gets to continue to attack and say whatever they want. Twitter should be forced to keep his account active until the 20th to give that segment a voice. You think they are going to listen to Biden? This is only going to add more fuel to the fire.

I don't think he deserved it. They are citing the final straw is him announcing he won't be at the inauguration. What's the issue with that?

“The second Tweet may also serve as encouragement to those potentially considering violent acts that the Inauguration would be a “safe” target, as he will not be attending. “

This is a stretch that would make Gumby jealous.

He's being a little bitch? The reason is really irrelevant
Not really. They have their 230 under the assumption they are acting in good faith. If you are banning accounts for statements that do not go against your policies or you are targeting a group, then it's bad faith and 230 should stripped. As a private company, they should do that but they are giving more reasons why they are a publisher

They should have just avoided giving a reason. That's was likely a mistake

I assumed the incoming administration wouldn't have a traditional inauguration with guests because of the Rona and wouldn't have anyone attending just like their rallies.

It's not going to end at Trump. From this moment on, any Republican or Conservative who announces they will be running for office will have their accounts censored or deleted and anything allowed to be posted will be marked by fact checkers.
It may not happen in the next few years but I see it, we are full blown headed for a civil war. The ones with the guns and ammo and growing manufacturing base isn't the elites on the coast or the wack jobs wearing skinny jeans and man buns, it's the guys being pissed on by the cancel culture pukes.
Good luck girlie men.

So you don't support VN being able to regulate who can post? Bammers or dawgs should have free reign?

Sometimes it's addition by subtraction

Based on the market share trends this looks like a perfectly logical move for Apple to make 😂

Wonder if Apple’s BoD will make some discreet recommendations

Twitter can do this because corporate America supports Democrats. Republicans just need to wise up and start voting for the craziest leftist they can find and watch corporate America do a 180.

When the “private world” has a monopoly on the control of information there’s a problem.
Twitter controls information? I have a general idea of what's going on and maybe visit it once a month on my own

I'm not sure what regulations freak is under and what the liability would even be on a small message board. (no offense freak) but the liability on Twitter reach the amount of people it can reach is significant. Not sure message boards are considered the same category of social media as Twitter. That's an interesting point though.
