Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2023-24

Their offense is a thing of beauty, god I wish Tennessee could move the ball like that. If UConn keeps playing at this level, no one is beating them in the tournament...

Lol right because Iowa is such a great defensive team. And you’ll be quiet once UConn loses.

Talent that is developed to it's potential. Tennessee had plenty of talent at times but Holly did not coach them up.
I hate to beat up Holly at this late date, but when I see kids who escaped play so well now I wonder exactly how she messed them up so badly. Did ya'll see the video recently of Mercedes Russell playing in Europe?? You won't believe it.

Still want them to win and then make up for their sloppy play with a dominating beat down of UConn on Monday.

Just now catching up after getting done with work....I would still take Clark over Paige....Iowa has to get better players around her

This didn't age well. I will say that she should have let that ball go out of bounds.

She played well in overtime, but doesn't change the fact that earlier in the game, she was turning the ball over/missing open layups, stopping to pout, and jogging down the court fixing her hair while her player nails a three.

Maybe Baylor players read this board too?

If Baylor does not beat UConn in the elite 8, not sure if the teams left on their side of the bracket will beat UConn.
Probably not. TAMU would have a chance if they play well. They have the athletes to defend UConn and have the scorers to put scoreboard pressure on the Huskies.

Still think Maryland, Stanford and SC could beat them in the finals. But I'm hoping for Baylor. Would like to see that FF streak end. What's it been, like 12 years in a row now?
