I don't think they called a foul on Clark; I think she wanted a foul called on Evina.

Christyn Williams has been amazing today. Not just in scoring but her defense on Clark. When she's playing well, she's as good as anyone in the country.

Credit to Iowa, but too many UConn players showed up today to prevent the upset. Just got a little out of control at the end there

Looking forward to seeing Baylor muzzle UConn next round. Iowa just didn't have that inside presence needed to make UConn sweat.

Good as Clark is, she's not all that efficient. >33% of team shots, <33% of points.
C. Williams impressed on defense and offense.

I meant Evina did not foul Clark, I stated it poorly. Wish Evina had gotten her triple double. Both Westbrook and Williams said it best in post game interview: team win, total team effort. Focus on the frosh stars helped the "role players" relax and get open shots. They knocked them down.

UConn had 30 assists guys, to 12 t.o.s. Both starting guards almost had triple doubles. UConn hit 43% fm 3.

That's the difference folks. Makes me realize how far we are from this level. At least not going backwards anymore, but miles to go before we sleep.

Their offense is a thing of beauty, god I wish Tennessee could move the ball like that. If UConn keeps playing at this level, no one is beating them in the tournament...

Agree, so far. Thought at first it was b/c of difference in the cast surrounding them, and that does help Bueckers. But by the end, I just thought Bueckers was better.

I'd also like to point out, once again, that UConn's steady diet of scheduled cupcakes does not hurt them one iota in big games.

I know. Truthfully, I don't think the LVs at their prime played offense this well. Fluid, crisp passes, purposeful dribbling, smart decisions, lots of movement, focused, locked in, playing in rhythm and at the right speed. Executing par excellence. And loaded with talent. Other than that, they're easily beatable.

They could because Iowa couldn't slow them inside. Baylor can. If it turns into a slugfest, my money's on Baylor.

I think Clark's weakness is that she takes difficult shots where she should have been passing to others that were open because she had so much attention put on her. I think Page realized this and does pass making the team better.

Now watching Baylor and Michigan. I'm a terrible person, but I'm very tired of the Dee Dee Richards story. Glad she's ok, sick of that particular feel good featurette. They always beat sh*t to death instead of finding a few more good stories.

I think Clark leads the nation in points AND assists. If she's not the assist leader, she's top 3.
