Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2023-24

I would say anyone in this forum prefers politics.
I believe there is a dedicated thread for politics. Most people are in this thread to discuss non-LV BB news. Speaking for myself, I get too much of the poli scene everywhere else in my day, I'd like to keep my sports free from it. I think most in here would agree.

Irony.

126-42 final, Edwards……. my Lord and Fulwiley also. Two best players on the team tbh.

From today's State Newspaper:

"The Gamecocks threw it to Edwards down low often for easy layups, but she also came away with multiple offensive rebounds and put-backs. The Gamecocks scored 70 points in the paint. The No. 2 recruit in ESPN’s Class of 2024 rankings, Edwards came off the bench to play 10 minutes in the first half, going 5-for-5 from the floor and grabbing three rebounds. Edwards’ play was a good sign for a team looking for a dominant big this season. And USC’s play overall has opened the door for more versatility from the whole team. “Collectively, I like what we’re bringing to the table,” head coach Dawn Staley said. “I like the fact that every single one of our bigs is different than the other, and I like that you’re going to have to plan for our entire roster. There’s gonna be 13 players that you’re gonna have to prepare for.”
