I would venture to say it’s the 33 losses over the last 3 seasons when expectations were high and talent level was perceived by some as much higher. Also first year coach and a ton of new players who haven’t won at a big clip before. We have to show it on the court and earn that respect with some wins against quality competition. I’m optimistic that will happen. The overall talent and athleticism is definitely there which I have not seen in a while. This team looks like it can do major damage against anyone if they clean up a few things and especially if hitting outside shots. I’m very hopeful but not claiming anything until later.

Just give it a few games, esp once UT plays some good competition. It’s coming, the LV’s are realistically a top 10-12 team tbh, most followers are not up to speed on LV’s yet, but they will be in time. TBH, imo, their ceiling looks higher than 10-12…..this seasons version of NCSU last year which was not ranked early.

Apparently dismissed is different fm dropped. Completed pre trial diversion. I'm sure she'll return by SEC schedule as if nothing happened.

Dismissed means the case is permanently over and can not be brought back to court. Dropped means the prosecution can still pursue a case at a later date should new evidence arise. Dawn has not yet lifted her suspension from the team.

Since UConn plays USF this year, I wanted to check out Jose Fernandez's roster since he is the coach that really goes after the European players and has done for years. Wow, he still is, but OMG, he has only 2 players from the US. This is where his players come from:
Spain (2), Bulgaria, Italy, Ivory Coast, Finland, France, Brazil, Congo, Israel, and Latvia. He must spend his entire summers overseas recruiting, and maybe doing no recruiting in the US.

Check out Insell’s class at MTSU. He has at least three from Eastern Europe.

Today's Columbia newspaper states Swatkins' suspension has been lifted and she is back with the team.
