Olivia Miles always appears to be moving in slow motion but she’s so crafty around the rim. She can make a nifty reverse layup or feed a cutter to the basket. Didn’t think the turnaround would happen so quickly but if Dodson can continue to protect the paint and make the easy ones then ND may make some noise in the tourney. I don’t want them in our bracket.

Miami and Notre Dame wins certainly wouldn’t hurt the Lady Vols stay in contention for a #1 seed…(those teams are certainly better than Auburn but having some of the other top teams beat up on each other while we take care of business definitely helps!)

i don't know how and i don't know if it is saying much but auburn is still a top 100 team and was one before we lost to them (95) still a VERY bad loss but at least not like a 200 ranking loss

Weird play. Cunane fell while guarding Westbeld. A teammate passes Westbeld the ball. She appeared to wait for Cunane to get up before making her move. It was just odd. Westbeld was then swarmed, missed the shot and NCST scored on a fast break layup.

Good win for ND over NC State!!

Louisville is definitely a solid team but they have had numerous close games this year. I just don't see them as a top 5 team.

A talented Notre Dame team just beat an overrated NC State squad. I like it anytime someone above us gets beat. NS State does not belong in the top five.

Cunane was so much more physical as a freshman. She gets pushed around all the time these days. Not very strong on the boards, had a nice one toward the end there though.

Diamond Johnson is a real one when she’s on. I don’t think they’re that tough though. Lot of the teams in the ACC not passing the eye test to me this season. Some of the teams in the Big 12 are looking really strong.

I don't want Notre Dame in our bracket either; they are a very dangerous team, but since we haven't played them in a while I have a sneaking suspicion that's exactly where the committee will stick them just to spite us. I hope I'm wrong.

They wouldn't schedule us after covid. So while you may not wanna see ND we know ND didn't wanna see us 👀

True overrated also have some liability issues on the court to. Raina Perez was benched with a little under 2mins left in the 3rd and never saw the floor in the 4th. And i understand why she has problems creating her own shot and that left Johnson same height to carry the load in the backcourt. I will give Ivey credit she used Miles to take away Perez when she was on the floor.

Notre Dame is really good at home much better than they are on the road. NC State is in some sort of a struggle right now just like we are. They managed to win at NC but couldn't comeback tonight. That is their first loss in the ACC going to be a close race over there for the league title.

I love this thread and love the posters from other schools. If we ever met in person I know we would have a good time.

Honestly don’t even mind the UCONN fans. My primary issue with them is when they get out of pocket in threads they don’t belong. Both BBallNut and needorange love to post in the recruiting threads where they have absolutely NO BUSINESS posting. Which is why this thread exists….

I do mis BUBear he/she seems to have phased out since Kim left Waco.

So if Louisville has a 69-66 win over unranked Miami, and if NCST has a 66-69 loss to lowly ND, how's our 86-83 win over Arkansas looking in retrospect?
