And you haven't shown any proof at all of the bias against UT to be brutally honest, just a bunch of fan emotions playing out in public and without substance. We are all waiting on your proof . I will only respond to you if you raise a valid, logical and proven (no emotional feelings please) point. Otherwise, I'm not feeding the deflection attempts any more.

It wasn't a month. Last game played was 12/19/21. Next game played was 1/9/22. Three weeks.

The first of the three games against Marquette was postponed by the Golden Eagles. They had the Covid issues.

The other two, Georgetown and Villanova, were postponed because of Covid issues in the UConn program. I believe injuries also put UConn under the allowable number of players available.

There have literaly been hundreds of games postponed or cancelled due to Covid but UConn is lying about it so they don't lose a game?

Ahh....bring up the Rugters/UConn fan issue (I was born in Jersey and my sister went to Rutgers so I root for them) and I've lived in Connecticut for many years. It's hard not to root for them and know a lot about them if you love WCBB which I do.

But ignore what I sad and how many things you got wrong. One thing I do is admit when I have something wrong.

Did you really say that UConn cancelled the SC game and that they didn't play for a month?

If VolBall09 or Freak want to take down the "non LV BB news" thread they can. Freak can also choose not to accept fans from other teams. But they don't do so. One thing you may be missing is that this site benefits business wise from all traffic. So maybe shoot Freak a message with your thoughts on getting rid of other fan bases from VN. That way few if any posters will ever call you out when you post baseless and sometimes false statements which you can not back up.

Most LV fans enjoy the interaction with other fans, and yes most of us are polite and stay out of UT threads and their business in general, but in this thread I think its fair to say anyone can point out falsehoods when they see them posted. If I am wrong, VolBall09 will let me know, or Freak.

I don’t mind other fans at all. I will say, I’m definitely not a BBallNut fan. In my experience that poster is almost never here to talk basketball. Just here to be nasty and stir the pot. Once in a blue moon he will make a basketball post to avoid being accused of being a troll.

I love this thread and love the posters from other schools. If we ever met in person I know we would have a good time.

Honestly don’t even mind the UCONN fans. My primary issue with them is when they get out of pocket in threads they don’t belong. Both BBallNut and needorange love to post in the recruiting threads where they have absolutely NO BUSINESS posting. Which is why this thread exists….

I do mis BUBear he/she seems to have phased out since Kim left Waco.

Oh the W's travel accomodations (if they can even be called that) are notoriously terrible and I definitely hear where she's coming from. What I found interesting is the implication Cambage won't be coming back to the league. Like in theory, that's her coach she's calling out!

I get her point, but if you don't pay coaches semi-comparably to what they'd make at a university or as part of an NBA team's organization, you won't have decent coaches. I'm assuming she's complaining about how much the Aces are paying Hammon, but if they didn't offer her a decent amount, she'd still be with the Spurs. However, if Cambage chooses not to play in the W next year, it'll just be next (wo)man up.

The structure of the W needs a ton of work, but Cambage (of all players...) just kvetching about it on Twitter won't produce any positive results.

Which is why the Mercury just hired someone who is basically a high school coach. I’m sure Nygarrd can coach, but she’s been a W assistant for like one season and all her experience prior is at the HS level.

Similar with Walt at the Liberty. He had minimal coaching experience and no head coaching experience. Didn’t last long.

Difference is ain’t nobody going to see the coaches of these teams. You have 1 person alone making THE WHOLE salary of the roster. That ish is bananas. The W just cycles through the same coaching pool every hiring. It’s a slap in the face to these athletes.

She may prove me wrong, but hiring Nygaard was laughable and a huge downgrade from Brondello (who is a huge upgrade from Walt). Griner, Diggins-Smith, and Taurasi should almost be offended. I could see that hire in Indiana or Atlanta, but the Mercury have the pieces for a really good team -- they just need someone to keep a fire lit under BG.

If they want to keep touting the WNBA as the most elite professional women's league in the world, it needs to stop being treated like a minor league operation by half of its teams.

She had some nice plays early in the game, was active and scoring in the paint. Her lack of production later is consistent with someone who is injured or worn down. We forget she is often battling people larger than her.

She's already crazy and I don't take her serious. Cambage Is a distraction.
