I disagree. I don’t think any of UCONNs stars would affect how the game would be won by SC. They beat them last year with all their stars available. Just because you’re down players doesn’t mean that once those players return, they are just gonna go off. You also have to remember the players who have had to step up due to lack of player availability, their production could go down with the reintroduction of players who are coming back from injury. So really, it just evens itself out.

Looks like SC has two token starters as it is clear that Cardoso and Johnson should be starting over Fletcher and Saxon. At least they are getting starters minutes which is making the difference.

Vegas likely won some money -4.5 and UCONN loses by 4. I know I lost 75 bucks and livid about it. Up 12 with less than 2 and got it down to 4. The refs for the premiere game were hot garbage, both ways.

I think Johnson needs to be in the starting, She did not make a lot of 3 but it`s good to see she is willing to keep shooting will get more comfortable as she plays more.

Geno almost coached his way out of an impossible situation in the last 90 seconds….good use of the clock. This was a good game, Boston held without a bucket in first half ends up the games leading scorer showing why she is the reigning NPOY, always delivers in the big games.
