The pundits on the ACC Network are certainly talking up the Hokies as a 1 seed. I think that Tech is either the last 1 seed or the top 2 seed. Much will depend on how the B1G Tournament finishes. If Iowa rolls over Ohio State, the Hawkeyes will be a viable candidate for a 1 seed as well. At this point Stanford is likely safe as the 3rd 1 seed.

Of course, there is functionally very little difference between being the 4th or the 5th overall seed (as those teams will be on opposite sides of the weakest bracket). And the way Stanford's offense has regressed this season the 6th overall seed might not be bad either. Of course Stanford has scary size and talent and if they put it all together in the NCAA Tournament then they are the second toughest out after South Carolina.

Any non ACC team should be licking their chops to be in a region that has an ACC team as one of their top 5 seeds.

The Buckeyes don't have the legs to overhaul a 37 point lead. The game is over for all practical purposes.

It also matters little whether Iowa is the last 1 seed or the top 2 seed. Those teams are likely to be on opposite sides of the same bracket.

Villanova's about to win a close one. I don't think they were ever going to give us a 4 seed anyway.

I don't like how the tournament is played every single day. If u look at the game SC played and the ones we played. SC rested well because their game was easy while we fought had #4 rank. I know it's not an excuse but, they should create it in a way teams get one day rest.

But who has Villanova beaten? The only power 5 team they played was Baylor and Iowa State and they lost to both. They took a loss to Creighton and two losses to Uconn even when Uconn was at its worst. If the committee looks closely at what they have done, then that shoud not be a number 4. Then they have North Carolina Sitting on a 4 seed, but they have lost 5 of their last 9 with 3 bad losses. Tennessee has a better shot to host than North Carolina for sure and depending on tomorrows outcome with Villanova and Uconn, Villanova needs to be moved down. They have a crappy resume. Then you have UCLA with two losses to unranked Washington State in the last 5 games. I am not buying they are a 4 seed either. With the inner turmoil going on at Texas, they will be lucky to get to the final of the Big 12. Creme has UCLA and Texas as automatic qualifiers. I wouldn't use his bet slip if I wanted to win anything.

Been saying it all season. nova isn’t a top 16 seed and should not be ranked. It’s the UConn effect. just because one team in your conference is good does not mean the rest of them suddenly got better.

Very true. Looking at all of the current 4 seeds, they are all vulnerable and should be moved around tomorrow if creme wants to save any of his dignity. God knows he hasn't been close in quite a while. His momma must sleep with the owner of ESPN or something to keep that job. He's less predictable than the weatherman.
