You would be funny if you weren't so pathetic. The legacy is there. You are making the argument that Yale fans could make a solid argument with Clemson fans about the fact that they have only won 3 national football titles compared to Yale's 18. That is what you are saying when you compare us to Tennessee. It's a "what have you done lately" world and we have dominated WBB lately and especially the SEC. So, there you have it. The legacy is bought, signed and delivered. The statue is no different than a 'ring of honor' except it highlights something that can never be repeated....a first. You don't set the rules about a time frame. No one does. Like I said....you do you...and we will do us. I will say nothing more on this because I am not going to respond to a petulant child attitude.

She was their best player and had the ball in her hands most of the time. So it’s not playing time that was the issue there.

If she’s a nice girl and looking for a good culture she would be a great get for us. A nice compliment on the perimeter to what we have returning.

Arizona is a dumpster fire imo. They need to fire Barnes and start over. Never seen such a meteoric rise followed by such a staggering fall. Her ego clouds her judgment on almost everything, it’s palpable in all her interviews, she thinks a great deal of herself.

Az has been playing better without Gilbert. There is smoke here, this one needs a warning label attached most likely.

But the last 3 games her mins were cut and I think the last one she came off the bench only for a few mins, it was a slow ending for some reason.

That program is a wreck right now. No one knows what she did, but being a transfer from that program or having problems there is nothing new. I don't see that coach lasting much longer she truly seems someone very hard for players to play for.

The other day Aaliyah Edwards of UConn made an NIL deal with Adidas of Canada. When asked about it today by reporters, she said she couldn't discuss it because it could endanger her student visa status. How ridiculous is that? It's bad enough that foreign students cannot get involved with NIL, even though they may have spent 4 years in the country playing American college basketball. This deal is a foreign NIL deal, but according to her she can't even talk about that publicly in this country. So messed up.

Yeah, the whole mess is wrapped around foreign students being here on a student Visa and not a work visa. It’s archaic at this point. Same goes for Cardoso from Brazil and Amoore from Australia. It’s one reason why the best foreign players almost always go pro as soon as eligible.

SC has a WBB NIL collective booster group of businesses that have contracted with the ladies on the team to do advertising and marketing for the businesses that participate in exchange for $25k per year to each and every member of the team….except any foreign players of course, doesn’t seem fair 🤨

I hope Edwards has found a way to be compensated for NIL by doing so with foreign entities, good for her.

The NLRB ruling declaring the Dartmouth Men's basketball team members “employees” is Exhibit A+ for the law of unintended consequences. If that ruling, currently under appeal, is upheld, then each and every foreign student athlete is at severe risk of losing their student visa.

If they are employed, they violate the conditions of their student visa. Between the perpetual idiocy of the NCAA and the general ineptitude of the burrocrats, the students get the shaft.

I think she might get a shot at say Wake Forest, Pittsburgh or some other team dragging up the bottom. We surely need to go with a proven coach or just stay where we are. We know we can win as many as we lose right now. We don't want a situation where we are losing more than we win.

Don't know why she can't talk about it. You're only restricted from working in the US. You can do whatever you want outside the US. As a grad student on a student visa, I was allowed to work for 20 hrs/wk and on campus after the first semester. Don't know if those rules are still in force today.

Marquette lost again to St John's. So they are going to finish 5th in the Big East and still get in? Swept by UCONN(both blowouts), swept by Villanova, and went 1 and 1 vs Creighton. 1 and 7 against the top 4. I don't think they should be in, pending a run in the BE tourney to the final. Getting beat by Villanova or St John's 3 times surely wouldn't still get in.

Nah they should be out. You can’t lose that many games in that bad a league and still make the tournament. I think the BE will only have two teams in the tournament. UConn and Creighton.
