With the news of the Clemson coach being fired, will Berry wait and see who is the new coach before deciding to stay with Clemson? Anyone know if she was interested in any other schools before committing to Clemson?

She only visited there and committed. Seemed to be pushed there by an AAU coach so who knows exactly what will happen. My guess is if she had a deal and still has one she will stay with them.

I have no idea what happened there. Because they had a really good roster. Coming into the season, I thought they had a top 4 roster in the SEC (behind LSU, SC and Tenn).

I think A&M is out anyway. They just didn’t win enough conference games.

Vandy is firmly on the bubble imo. They would be the first SEC team with a winning record not to make the tourney. So chances are they make it, but I really don’t feel they earned it.

Joni can’t coach. That’s what happened. Never could and never will.

She’s a great recruiter and motivator. Not a good player development or Xs and Os basketball coach. Wasn’t ever impressed with her at UGA and didn’t understand her COY win and everyone falling all over themselves about her coaching prowess.

I thought she had a talented roster strong in the post and ok perimeter. I don't think she will be at A&M very long if she can't produce better results no one likes 6 and 10

Especially not in Aggie Land. They are very serious about their sports and they gave her a 💰💰💰 for that job. If she can’t do any better than 6-10 in the SEC she’ll definitely be out sooner rather than later.

SEC is getting tougher not easier as well. Texas and OU will be another couple losses for teams like A&M, Vandy, Kentucky, UGA etc

I meant for MSST, not TAMU. But TAMU was who had as fifth, but based on the strength of their startesr (and thinking Hunter was playing). They looked good in some games, like when they beat Tennessee, Auburn, and Ole Miss decisively, but then they had some headscratching losses, and not all could be explained by Rogers injury.

Gary Blair got robbed with her winning SEC COY, and I still firmly believe it was 100% because a white male was not going to win, and it was pre-ordained that it would go to a black woman.
