Texas leading 21-10 with just under 9 min in the 2nd quarter. Ok, I take back what I said about them earlier. They look really, really good. Madison is like a Rickea Jackson clone, and she's only a freshman.

The Absolute Unit from Iowa State has been a non factor thus far. She's getting overwhelmed by the speed and athleticism of Texas so far. When Texas has Booker, Aliyah Moore and Deyonna Gaston in the front court, they are a really tough matchup. Not the tallest post players, but they are fast, athletic, can shoot and play bigger than their listed heights.

Iowa state getting blown out right now. Texas looking to get a 1 seed. Not gonna happen even if they win

As good as Texas looks now, I can only imagine how good they would have looked if Harmon hadn't gotten injured.

Texas held Iowa State scoreless for about 8 minutes. They are not messing around.

33-12 with just over 3 min in the half.

That kind of defense is demoralizing. Really took any question out of it already which is exactly how you hope it goes as a coach lol

I wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee went after her considering what Kellie said about her and Nicholson out of Georgia as being the two most improved players in the league. Kellie needs somebody at that four spot who can rebound and get some points and Petty fits that bill. She's a walking double double with SEC experience and is in tremendous physical shape. Just think Brooklyn miles can transfer unhindered as well and not sit out a year. Maybe she wants to come back home.

I don't think she wants to let a man be the most winningest coach in women's basketball. I think she'll attempt to stick around as long as Geno is in the game if her health allows.

Yeah I think he has a great agent, whoever it is. He’s definitely gotten several bags from Louisville by doing this.

Maybe he’s serious this time?

The days of making fun of Head Coaches looking for a raise or jumping teams for more money should be over.

With the NIL era, players are doing the same thing , it's called the transfer portal.

Yep just the way the game goes now. If players have no loyalty neither do their coaches. That’s what happens when everyone is loyal to the almighty dollar.

Vic Schaefer was the first to do it and we got Rickea because of it. I know she was put out with the way he handled leaving MSST with the players finding out before he told them personally. He had accepted the job and posts had been made on social media where the team found out their coach was leaving.

If he had done that slightly differently she may have been at Texas and we may have been even worse off. I think if Kea and Vic had 4 years together they would have won a national championship.

I think he may take the Kentucky job is the pay is right. The ACC is going to be a disaster next season long road trips to the west coast. I am sure he has to have the right amount of money if they are willing to pay that amount is the question.
