She was. She came to UT six times. Everyone thought she was a strong lean for the Vols. Then she was contacted by UConn, immediately after her last UT trip if you believe some, and the rest is history.

Folks connected to recruiting also said after the fact said that she had financial offers on the table UT couldn't match.

The SC/IU game on Friday will be interesting, IU is the top 3 pt shooting team in the nation and SC has one of the best 3 pt defenses. I think SC is faster and bigger than any team they have played this season, and deeper. I’m thinking SC by 15, they should own the paint against IU.

I wouldn't be shocked if it's close in the 1st half, but then I expect SC to take over the game in the second half. I guess IU could pull off a "Louisville v Baylor" upset if they get red hot with 3 point shooting and SC has an off night. But I don't see it happening. I think SC's bench is just too deep.

Oh spare me the snarky commentary. NIL was completely legal at the time, so whatever was offered would have been legal at the time. "Strong-ass offer" was used entirely as a figurative expression for "money." Heaven forbid someone crack a joke around here.

I was wrong when I said our ceiling was 4th place in the SEC if Brooks got the UK job.

It’s actually 5th place. I forgot to account for Vic Schaefer being back in the conference with Texas entering.

I would post a joke about Clark having to try twice as hard in order to succeed as a person of a particular persuasion in a pursuit dominated by a different persuasion, but I'd get called names, so I would never attempt to post such a jest.
