Non-Lady Vol Basketball News 2024-25

Geno said the other day that UConn has a game on Sunday, as does Notre Dame. So, the losers' season isn't over, and the winner doesn't win the NC. These games are good for the media, the fans, and the players, but in the long run, mean nothing this early in the season.

You always know which games he fears they could possibly lose by which ones he minimizes as just another game in the pre-game presser. He has done that for as long as I can remember.

But you watch. If it does stay close at the end, he'll be over there sweatin' bullets, getting super upset with the officials, and Chris Dailey will be called into service to hold him back from just going out there and tearing somebody apart. It'll be the ol' Channel GBT -- Geno Basketball Theater. 😂

It’s ironic but there are three starters on this UCONN team that if they were on Tennessee’s roster majority of the people on here would say they aren’t highly talented.
It’s time to stop showing bias and equating talent to the program a player is in.
The same can be said about several of the teams in the Top 10.
There’s parity in this sport.
There is no clear cut favorite.

Man, I wish I hadn't missed the first half! I just got free in time to watch them leave the court at the half. Nice to see McGraw on the halftime panel, and I know she must be hoping and praying Niele and her team can keep up the good work. I hope so, too!

Any yes, I know a CT win stands a chance at helping us later, but not by enough to make me not want Niele to be able to start getting under Auriemma's skin as much as Muffet did. 😂

GO IRISH!
