Usually means something internal is going on. Whole teams who are getting along don’t tend to slump like that. They are not on the same page at all.

Kara was an ESPN analyst for years and watched teams that coached effective modern offenses. One would have figured that she would implemented what she have seen from those teams.

Right. Kara’s handicap is that she is a Pat protege…in both the best sense and in light of how things turned for Holly and KJH. Duke pays well but Kara’s smarts and talents compete with her own big game experiences from 20 years ago. Fact is she didn’t play the cohesive pushing style that Geno blueprinted. Pat got fast, strong, players and controlled the paint. And won everything in sight for 30 years. With great people on the floor. Senator Kara Lawson sounds cool. PS- some young coaches likely to run down Dawn-Geno-Brenda-Kim-Vic, etc. might be named Berube, Ralph, Valley, or Caldwell. Love and respect for Pat abides in many an old Husky heart…but time changes and the beat goes on.

Texas took 26 fga's in the first quarter. SC took 8. SC led 18-9 after 1q. Some of the strangest stats I've seen in quite some time.

Super weird stat. Game will likely even out in second, Texas has 48 shot attempts to SC’s 21, SC is hitting 70%.

No. Tennessee staying healthy and gaining experience together as a team in year 1 is the only reason the SEC is not guaranteed to come down to SC vs Tennessee.
People don’t understand Tennessee hasn’t even reached its ceiling as a team.

So Texas likely won’t outscore SC by 20 in the fourth, good showing by SC. This was a big time matchup, Staley still owns Vic, kind of expected Texas to show better, but SC owns home court, 67 straight at home
