After reading a little more about this recruit , you find she was committed to Louisville since 2019…… and is leaving high school early in 2022 and agreeing to red shirt her first year !

Sounds like a person has been wanting to go to Louisville even before they went to high school and willing not to play your first year just to get a scholarship? I don’t think you will find a lot of kids wanting to commit that early and not want to play their first year ? 🤷‍♂️

A couple of seasons ago, Walz convinced Nyah Green to redshirt her freshman season. She had been committed to Louisville since the 9th grade. She transferred to Duke this past off season.

Really don't understand her situation as she is the number 31 ranked player in the 2022 Hoopgurlz rankings and why she would have to reclassify evidently some school problems. I was more in general talking about 2023 ranked players that are eligible to play immediately. Barnes has one on his roster this season and he will play this season. I think players highly ranked in the 2023 class are just as capable of playing now as 2022 players. I don't think there is any drop off in ability to contribute to a team right now. If any were eligible to reclassify and play that would be a place to go if your recruiting of 2022 was not going well.

Given the current climate I wonder if Coach Summitt's "stare" would have been considered bullying? Making player's do their own laundry might qualify as cruel.

Doubt this goes anywhere. Seems like their beef is with the DOO and if it’s only two students it’s going to be hard to prove she created a culture of harassment and bullying. Sounds like they were in the dog house which is still well permitted. A letter from the entire team or mass departure of players and staff are really the sign something is wrong these days. That’s going to be the new normal.

Betting they will start canning coaches sooner to try to prevent the mass transfer situation like Syracuse. The tight rope gets even tighter.

I wish I still have that video after the Arkansas loss last season when Geno called out Olivia Nelson Ododa he said something along the lines of "she is the tallest player on the court and only got 2 rebounds"
