She inherited some excellent defensive players from Nikki. It’s only an exhibition against a terribly overmatched opponent, but they executed turning that defense into offense much better than they have been in the past. Lots of quick buckets for LSU.

Dawn gets some flak,
But she is a strong ambassador for WCBB and she never shies from promoting it, she sees herself as important to the sport’s future as a minority spokesperson.
She has very strong beliefs in equality as everyone knows, some like to hate on her.
She is genuine though, and she wants to be a part of the reason WCBB grows. I think she sees that as her legacy.

Clemson must have a connection with Detroit Edison Public Academy. That is the second top-ranked player they have gotten from there in the last three years and I think their top player last year who ended up signing with Michigan State also had Clemson on her final list of schools.

Good for her I like seeing top ranked kids going to P5 schools that aren’t nationally recognized or usually at the bottom of league standings like Clemson it gets boring when every top ranked recruits goes to UConn,SC, Stanford,Oregon,and Duke for the “hype”

Coach Butler is really likable went viral over some videos of her impersonating her athletes recently. Other then that I don’t see the appeal but I can’t complain at least she didn’t commit to a heavy hitter P5 school

honestly she can also come in and get major minutes and contribute majorly to that program. which is appealing to some AND some kids like being the "'missing piece" to get them over the hump. They've had some decent seasons and some good wins just need a little more.

Ageism is just as litigable as sexism or gender discrimination. They better tread lightly or he’ll get his retirement and a multi million dollar settlement.

i totally agree.... It could have been that but he has been ruffling feathers in other things is what i heard. Not downplaying Ageism at ALL but it was said he has become increasingly hard to work with. So this may have been a case of it just running its course. If anything funny i'm sure it'll come to light.

Considering UNC has been a 50% team the last couple of years, they did really good. I heard someone say, "Coach Banghart" was doing great because of her recruiting. Maybe, but she isn't winning basketball games very consistently, so we shall see.

Yes and UNC is a very young team. Would expect SC to have laid it on them pretty good. They are primarily Freshman and Sophomores. They have a couple upperclassman but they are not experienced.

I think UNC will be about a .500 team again this season. They have some talented players but they are young. The ACC will be tough again and I just don’t think they have enough experience to be a Top 5 contender in that league this season.
