An intelletually dishonest post, given that you are a longtime WBB fan. To compare men's to women's basketball attendance as a way to hate on Kellie is a dishonest thing to do. That's true even at Tennessee, especially given our recent history. And you know the difference.
Here are facts that betray your post:
We'll throw out last season because of the pandemic upheavals. In the last regular season prior to the pandemic shutdown, ie - 2019-2020, SC led WBB in attendance with 10K per game. UConn was at 9K, and we were at 8 K. This year, SC has 11K per game attendance. We are at 10K for both Texas and Stanford. So we are right there in the conversation with the leaders. Not bad for a rebuilding program. So you have nothing to support your attack. This is another in a long line of outrageous attacks. Please add this to the mountain of evidence that you should be banned. Expressing an opinion is one thing. Getting things wrong is another. But this is a deliberate and willful dishonest attack.
In 2019-2020 SC averaged 12,200, not 10k.

Thanks for the correction. I don't remember what source I found for my stat, but it said 10K, +/-, or I read it wrong. Either way, my point stands - it's ridiculous to expect Tennessee to draw more than the men or more than SC during a pandemic in Kellie's third year. The fact they are drawing 10K for their best games is quite the accomplishment from where she picked up the program.
I once reviewed a life insurance claim where the wife took out a large policy on her husband, invited him to go shoot rats at the dump and then “accidentally” shot him. The sheriff declined to bring charges. The husband must have been quite the prince.…I’ve actually been party to that…prolly 45 years ago…
Stanford won a title last season and barely have 3K attending games some games barely 2K. Texas A&M men's basketball had a little over 2K for last night's game. To try and criticize UT women's attendance is laughable. 10K for any women's game is superb. UT got that on the 2 biggest games thus far. Vandy men haven't had over 7K in any game this season. I could give 25 plus examples just looking at games this past week or 2. To even try and blame Kellie for attendance numbers because of turnovers is almost beyond my comprehension. Welcome to women's basketball. Pat's teams even had TO issues. This argument alone should have me banning a certain poster. UGA can't even get 2.5K to a game, Ga Tech bear UCONN and can barely get 2K for a game. Syracuse had less than 1K for some games in the Carrier Dome. Which is actually sad. I could keep going, it's just not worth it. Oh wait Baylor and ND had numerous sellouts almost every game played with McGraw and Mulkey. Not even close if not less than 30% down already. Full stop with this BS.

Many people are woefully underestimating the impact Covid-19 is having on attendance, too. The sports world is still very much dealing with a global pandemic, and a pretty good chunk of fans are staying away from large gatherings of people until this mess we are in is over.
