I read something that he was ready to step aside if they could find a quality replacement. Otherwise he would continue coaching.

Really glad to see Becky bringing her talents back to the women’s game. Growing up in Colorado Becky is a legend. Can’t wait to see how they play under her, I think she’s a fantastic coach.

While the Missouri win was huge, another game under the radar that will help our seeding at NCAA time is that Vs Tech best #15 Duke by 22 points. They may be on their way to being the third rated team we beat without Burrell.

I think they would be ranked now if they hadn’t laid an egg against Liberty in their next game after ours. Had a bit of a loss hangover and Liberty played really tough.

Don't have to look hard to see why SC lost. Cooke and Henderson 6 for 31 in the game. Wow just 14 points on 31 shots still only a one point loss.

Cooke can shoot them into a loss every night if they let her. Dawn is going to have to sit her more. She was ineffective against Stanford as well. The majority of their defensive game plan was to let her shoot.

If Virginia Tech had scored one more basket all of the winning ACC teams yesterday would have scored 79 points. North Carolina, NC State and Louisville all finished with the same point total.

that VA tech win on the road is looking better and better. I've seen how coach kenny's team at JMU were a threat and consistently made the tourney. He is a good coach and i'm telling you his team hit a two game snag but they are good and that win should NOT be underestimated

VA Tech is a second weekend tourney team if it goes right and if they get hot who knows how far they go. Think about it, he has had success and if you put the third Mabrey sister back on his roster they'd be even more dangerous. I think conference games this year will hr crazy

You are 100% correct about Cooke and can`t make a layup at times, Dawn did bench her against Stamford for good bit. Maybe we will see Bree Hall more ? I did not watch the game but i`m with you 100% on Cooke.

I was at the Deep South Classic but was more focus or the boys games . But did get to watch Collins girls. From what i hear she can shoot the rock and take you off the bounce. Like i said never seen her play.

A good loss and learning experience for the gamecocks. Takes the pressure off and hopefully a teaching moment for sleep walking in the early quarters. If Mo makes threes like that at home hopefully y'all get them at your place.

I remember someone saying they are going undefeated and nobody was gonna touch them I kept saying don't doubt the power of the SEC this just proves how tough our conference can be.

It makes me laugh that posters were stating because TN was a top team it just proves how bad everyone else was

I won't say its a good loss but definitely a teaching moment that you play hard against every opponent cause on any given night a a great team can be beat now other people will take this loss and give it more shine than all their wins over the highly ranked teams which is ridiculous

I totally agree i thought the same thing about the Stanford loss for us. A win masks the things that need to be corrected and a loss exposes them to your benefit. Learn the lesson now not in march.

HOWEVER, one of ya counterparts was on here yapping about how SC was gonna go undefeated at the beginning of the year and gave NO team a change to even compete with them i gotta do a little ribbing!

They say they are going undefeated every year and well just like other years they lose a couple. I still consider them the best team they have a couple players that played ugly last night and they are somewhat suspect from the three point line other than that still one of the top three teams until they prove they are not.

Exactly! I think they are still a top team and i'll say the best because of who they've beaten this far but there is little room for era in women's basketball now and i love to see it! Coach Summitts dream is coming to fruition and i wish she was here to see it
