I don't think her comment is necessarily. Nikki is a very good coach but never get top recruits. U can't compare a veteran coach with her that's y transfers ran to Kim. But those guards came from Nikki

I thought it was a really classes tweet from someone I usually think is pretty classy. No idea how she can feel they earned that. They had played nobody.

First real team they played and they got their butt absolutely handed to them. They have zero interior defense and Cunane was able to do as she pleased.

I maintain they are about to go 2-7 here. They just aren’t that good. I’ve watched 4-5 of their games and they won big but it didn’t feel like they were controlling the game.

She had better care about her job a little more. If they don’t perform well in ACC play and she schedules a cupcake schedule next season it will be her last.

Playing such a light schedule does nothing for the development of your team. She doesn’t understand the ACC isn’t the Ivy League. Her style of play is going to have to adapt a bit. It’s great to beat outmatched teams. Hit a team with any size or defense and they’re dead in the water.

I got NC losing about 6 ACC games this season probably about the middle of the league. That is a really terrible statement she made about earning that Net ranking as they have played one of the weakest schedules of any ACC team. Personally I think the NET Ranking is BS at least the way they are doing it now. When you have an SOS of 99 you haven't done much to earn any kind of recognition.

I’m a little confused because it seems different this season compared to last. To me it seemed pretty fair last season. Wondering if coaches kinda figured out the algorithm. Realized margin of victory, especially on the road, was moving teams a lot so scheduled really, really weak.

I hope it is not going to be the leading criteria because right now NC would be a number one seed with just one loss to number two. I know they won't be able to hold it, but the fact that they are even in the top ten considering their schedule is ridiculous.

Precisely. If that happens I do believe the NCAA would have to make changes. Would be embarrassing to have a team as a #1 seed with such a weak SOS and then have them get blown out in the tournament.

I don’t think that’ll happen this season because I truly believe conference play will level the field here. That loss to NC State probably won’t drop them much in the Net but if they lose a few more like that coming up their rank will tank.

If you lose by 27 best to keep your mouth shut and move on and try to get better. That undefeated season you had going was a mirage. I knew they were going to lose didn't know it would be by this much. After the first quarter the game was over. I don't think they are good enough to beat NC State no matter where they play.

Go like a page or two back and I posted what she said about NC state before the game lol idk why she clowning NC states arena when UNC doesn’t even pull 5k a game & they also play in a different arena then the men which is due for a paint job seriously that UNC women basketball arena is hideous

I understand the sentiment but this doesn’t hit right for me. That’s Kim’s hometown basically. It’s natural that she would get outsized support compared to Nikki.

The small crowds had everything to do with the lack luster play of Nikki’s teams. She is possibly my favorite VFL but you cannot deny they were like watching paint dry the last 4 seasons. Great defense but no offense….which sells tickets.
