I'm just curious what you think voters should do with teams that miss so many games.i've also seen other programs stay put/move up after long hiatuses like it counted just as much as a win

Movement in the polls has as much to do with what teams immediately above you and below you when you don't play that week.
I get that. I think pollsters tend to not punish teams for not playing. Maybe the thinking is that those teams didn't do anything to lose their spot.depends on the length but if teams below them are winning move them passed them.... We saw that with both uconn and AZ so maybe not be #4 in the polls but drop to #7-8 maybe not stay at #11 but drop down to #13-14. Because there is movement that is going on below those teams that should have been rewarded.
I want UConn to lose but one of SC “ranked wins”was against a injury laden Oregon team that was ranked #9 ( what a joke) if Oregon wins they may sneak back into the top 25Oregon vs UConn today starts as 4 central. Going to be a close game as Oregon is getting closer to full strength still don't know what kind of team they are. I don't think beating Arizona is as huge as it seems because Arizona has been playing some close game with teams all season that are not that great. Going to be fun to watch Oregon is talented just not getting much out of that talent this year because of injuries. We'll see if that is changing with many players back today.
With everyone back for Oregon and playing at home, you have to make them the favorite for sure. PaoPao is a terrific guard and the duo of Sabally and Prince are a tough matchup for any team.Oregon vs UConn today starts as 4 central. Watching the UNC vs UND game this morning since I missed it yesterday.
UNC lost this game toward the end of the third and it is 100% Banghart’s fault. UNC had the momentum down 2 48-50 with about 1:00 remaining in the third.
One of the UNC guards knocked the ball loose but Westbeld very obviously got to it first. The UNC player shoved her to the ground and a foul was called. Banghart spent 2 minutes arguing with the officials and looking incredulous over what was, I thought, a very obvious call. Both in live action and after the replay. Instead of refocusing her team she continued to argue with Dee Kantner about the call.
Meanwhile UND pushed their lead back to 6 with two Westbeld FTs and a quick score. The rest was history.

It's really an inexact science. And a lesson in futility to figure out what they will do on a given week.
UConn dropped 8 spots with two losses before their Covid issues stopped games. I wonder if they will do the same to Kentucky?
I thought Banghart severely hurt her team by not calling a time out while ND came from behind and went on a major run to build a decent lead. NC would cut that lead down to make it a one-possession game, but it was too late.
I know the current popular trend let teams play through adversity (we've seen Kellie do the same), but this occasion seemed to be especially glaring.

Regardless, most “ranking” systems are pretty subjective with built in bias.Oregon's improvement since the return of key players illustrates the futility of recent arguments about whether wins against opponents who were ranked at the time we beat them should count for less when those teams fall out of top 25. Injuries, COVID, transfers, etc. can majorly impact any team's efficiency. A weakened team now doesn't mean that the team wasn't legitimately ranked earlier; conversely, a hampered team earlier shouldn't hold back ranking of a team in recovery mode.
I never fault a kid for doing what they think is best for them. However, it’s clear those choices worked out best for Tennessee. We have a group who wants to be here. They’ve bought in to Kellie’s system and it speaks volumes in games. Another one you didn’t mention was Salary. I was expecting big things from her, but she looks the same as she did last year. Probably would be better at a mid-major.The players who left Tennessee are really flourishing right? Westbrook, Collins, Massengill. They definitely made the right choice they would have never developed at Tennessee. Now they have a legit chance to win a title while the #5 Lady Vols are only 17-1.

Grad transfer?I don’t think Coach Yo is going to do much at Ole Miss. She brought a lot of excitement and recruiting to begin with but as that excitement wanes we are getting a look at what kind of teams she’ll have.
Players are not developing from where they started with her. Austin is no better and maybe a little worse than when she came to Ole Miss. They have about 10 identical guards that play very similarly. They have some length and quickness that makes them tough defensively but I even see that waning.
If they do not pull a talented big (or two really) from the portal they are going to be in for a world of hurt next season. Salary will be trying to guard TK. I don’t see any way Austin returns for another year even though they have an asterisks next to her name on the roster indicating she could. She isn’t getting any better and looks disinterested.
Grad transfer?
