Not sure about the 9-4 part, Oregon's coming off a big emotional win there and I feel like that always stirs the pot for all but the best of teams, but I can't help but note that no one else in the top 15 has less than 12 wins, and most of them have around 15ish wins.
UConn has beat two ranked teams this year, #23 and #22, one at home, one at a neutral court, and of their last seven games, four were called off, leaving them with wins over Creighton, Xavier, and Butler as their only Ws since UCLA at the beginning of December (which was also a neutral regional game played in New Jersey). Even with all that, their lowest ranking was 11. Just kind of funny when you think about it. If you were doing an honest ranking of the teams, as they are right now today, the pollsters are saying UConn would be better than all but a handful. In their current state? Really? I have to wonder about that. I really do. I realize it is the voters ranking the teams, but for them to keep their ranking through the month ... well, just kind of funny, that.
