Here it is…I am disgusted by any “tweeter” or instagrammer or anyone in general who would ever say anything like some have done on those venues. I don’t do any of them, I have little knowledge of any of it, but I categorically say that I do not tolerate anything said by anyone, from anywhere, if it is disrespectful, and that goes 200% if anyone ever says something derogatory about another team or esp. CPS.

I spend some time on fan sites for WBB, like here (which is the best), including the BY, and no SC fan I have ever come across has expressed those thoughts, just a few from Twitter I guess that some of you post, I don’t know them, don’t support them and would punch them in the face if I met them, and yeah, I can handle myself, I would destroy them if I could.

Lady Orange, are you saying in all the years of LV BB greatness they never had wins of that margin? Why the bad vibes now, esp in a tourney game, has the game changed where it isn’t permissible to win by that margin anymore, because others are still doing it…look at some scores and preview past LV games. Weird how ”rules” are now changed by some.

What was the score of the UT game vs ETSU this year? 112-58……do your unwritten rules count there also? Don’t even look at scores from LV glory years, some were brutal but that is the way sports work, you put your team out there and ask them to do their best, esp in tourney play.

I’m commenting on not running up the score. Just a plain statement. For people to react as they did…it’s pathological. I’m fine with disagreements, but when people take it personally….they need help. And no, I don’t like it when any team runs up the score, including the Lady Vols.

I’m all about the sport of WBB and tbh I avoid controversy when I can, a fan from another team on this site gets piled on quickly in those topics, I just don’t like being in those convos as an outsider.

Va, I know I have spent a bunch of posts in the past 9-10 years on this site giving much love and admiration to the LV program, it never occurred to me I had to defend myself because some jackass on Twitter lately said something asinine. I still don’t feel I should. I have been a long time member here and only recently have I been attacked by a few, but again, I don’t take any of it personal, I’m just a fan of WBB, and LV BB is the history of this sport IMO. I always respect that.

I’m just an easy target here because I am a SC fan, so I tread lightly lately. There was a time when WBB’s fans from anywhere were treated with respect here until they caused it themselves to be different, and I get the change lately, but please don’t group me with any wackos from any tweet system or some other place, that’s not me and y’all should know that after 9-10 years. I was here 4 years before my recent profile, let it slip and came back.

I said something like this poster (seemed respectable)so i @ you 2. Just because you show respect by saying words and "admiration" if you turn around and just stay quiet or see something is not right and don't say anything what's that really mean? All those words were for not. We pride ourselves on being good (at least decent) fans and when people were attacking your players/coaches on here we didn't sit back we spoke up. Try it! it puts more meaning behind what you actually say ....

Anyways i'm done. And if you thought it was a personal attack on YOU let's be clear i was feeling like your WHOLE fanbase were some trash 🗑 to be honest... I'm sure y'all have good fans (they're all prolly 10 and under) and that's ok. The SEC is better when more teams do better. The SEC is better also when FAMS i mean fans do better

You won’t like any answer I give you. But here it is. The SC game was a NCAA tournament game on national television. I heard the old “the women’s game isn’t competitive so why waste broadcast time on their games.” I was one of the viewers who turned off the game because I want to see equally matched teams play. And for SC fans, why would you be so excited ( I’m not including you) to see your number one team slaughter a 16 seed? Or 14. I can’t remember. Maybe #1 seeds should get a bye if we’re going to keep the expanded 68. Yes, there are upsets, but they tend to come with 5-11.

I’ve “called out” other teams including the Lady Vols. However, beating ETSU by a ridiculous amount when the game was ….if it was broadcast it was on some obscure channel I think and nobody other than Lady Vols and ETSU fans were watching, is not the same as a nationally televised game. I still didn’t like tat we ran up the score.

Some people are justifying the score with the most ridiculous arguments: “Yeah, hopefully Howard learned something” and “Now Howard knows what it takes” and “Now they’ll know to be prepared to play.” I think they knew this before they played. I think they were set up in a feel-good game for SC.

VA, SC fan base is mostly older people who pack the stadium most nights. I’m 60, and considered a young one tbh, those SC fans packing the stadium the past 5 or so seasons to the highest number in the NCAA have no idea about some of the stuff you bring up. I myself don’t, I saw some tweet things posted here, again, I would punch them in the face if I ever met them, and 99% of the SC fan base is the same, good people, maybe older than most crowds, but good folks. Don’t put us in your bucket with a few wackos from Twitter please.

I won’t discuss tweets again, I don’t know anything about that stuff. I do know all of the SC fans that attend games and follow the game from across the state are nice folks. I think you know that also. Lot of grandmas wearing a Henderson or Boston Jersey, bring their grandkids and especially granddaughters to games…that’s why they call the SC fans Fams, it’s just a family thing for the fans of WBB in SC and the one I know and see are like your family are, respectful and happy to cheer for a good team. That’s all, it’s simple.
