[LV renaissance]

The Uconn - NC State game was a classic though it was disappointing how it ended, I don't think Uconn typically has benefitted that much from the regionals being in Bridgeport as they usually have a much better team than the other teams in their region. Also, their crowds have historically been large but not that loud, probably out of being so used to winning big. This year it really was a huge home court advantage with their extremely vocal crowd who weren't taking it for granted that they would win. I do not like the format of an 8 team regional, but do think it is good to keep the regionals from being a home court. However, the one in Greenville is not a correction of the home court problem, as it will be packed with Gamecock fans if there are placed there, which they probably will be. The other future sites look more neutral but also could really suffer from poor attendance. You are basically expecting neutral fans that aren't in WBB hotbeds to support 6 WBB games in a few days, which is not likely. Perhaps they should just stick to the current format and have a rule that the top 4 seeds don't get to play at a site in their home state.

She though she was going to play for the premier team in the country, she thought she would contribute in any way she could when she was asked to. She did what she had to do in a CLUTCH posession. This is what she does, this is how she does it. Game in and game out. She doesn't need 38 minutes to be impactful. And she looks pretty damn happy to me. View attachment 443319

Evian is selfish. You can say whatever you like but Vol fans know her just as well. She’s not happy unless she’s the center of attention. Riding the pine at UCONN isn’t going to be a happy memory for her, no matter how far she goes in the tournament.

Only good thing is after this season we likely never have to hear about her again. No pro career happening there.

Also, as far as the reffing, no one has mentioned that Edwards' 5th foul was totally bogus. I think it was a make up call for not calling the and one on NC St previous buckett.

If the corporation wants to and they make a good offer they could. But I don't know how long the run for now. They could be year to year. But it's business and you know how business goes. If Paige gets a Nike offer, does she drop StackX. I don't know.

Eh I doubt she goes anywhere. She’s in a good position to play a lot next season.

I can't. Williams and Westbrook are leaving after this season, and all of those minutes will basically be going to her.

Back during the regular season . When Evian was playing more because of injuries! They were playing a nobody school and E was having a good easy game and Lobo was bragging about Evian being a first round draft pick !!!!!
And when UConn was playing UCF , they shot 28% in the first quarter and during the summation of the first quarter Lobo said : “ UConn would not continue to shoot that poorly!” So they finished the game at 30% ……

Why is Lobo allowed to continue this love fest of UConn and make prejudice comments about UConn !!!! Let Draia call the games as real commentaries without prejudice! JMO

They wouldn’t have even won against Nc State except that the officials allowed ONO and Edwards about 10 fouls a piece. Both players should have fouled out in regulation.

I have to admit I'm more of a lurker here as most posters seem to have more insight than I.

I would like to make a couple of comments tho. I don't think it reflects well on our fan base to make personal comments about players or their families - doesn't matter if it's a Vol family or not. For all the respect I have for the forum I think these comments diminish it.

Other than I didn't care for the outcome of the NC State game yesterday it was one exciting BB game!
As far as the bad foul calls go. . . its part of every game. I can't remember a LV game where I wasn't yelling at the TV for bad called or missed fouls by the other team.

We had a good run this year. Next year will be better. Go LV's!!!
