I think this LSU team finishes 7th or 8th in SEC playIt’s only an exhibition game and LSU’s playing without Angel Reese, but whew… they’ve got some work to do. Their cupcake non-conference schedule could come back to bite come SEC play.

There are some excellent players on that roster but they don't have the coaching or schedule to challenge them to get them there. Will be a battle between SC vs TN
They don’t play a ranked team until they play us on January 30thIf anyone wants to see the joke of LSU’s out of conference schedule, here it is. Fans don’t have much to watch till SEC games.

Well the only players I genuinely liked what I saw from LSU were Poa and Flaujae. This team will outside of that will have to ride Morris and Reese to the finish line.
Basically like last years team. Outside of that starting 5 their bench gave them nothing. That’s going to hurt against elite teams because you have to have quality people on the bench to turn to.Yup. Come SEC play, those two will have to play pretty much 35-40 minute games most nights - esp if they plan on finishing in the top four.
And as we know, the SEC regular season is an absolute grind.
they looked pretty horrific that first half. Much better 2nd half but it’s a inferior team they played. They do have a couple good looking new players but there are things I’m skeptical of.I wasn’t impressed at all with LSU. Decent athleticism compared to last years LSU team. I’ve see their new players that were held out and this team will probably struggle against tough competition even with their full roster unless they just weren’t motivated to play this exhibition at all and can elevate their level of play up a notch or two, MAYBE three.
If Tennessee comes out flat Sunday, then perhaps I can say it’s just an exhibition! Cause for anyone to say LSU looked good they have to be giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Interesting that Mulkey put a walk on in before a scholarship playerthey looked pretty horrific that first half. Much better 2nd half but it’s a inferior team they played. They do have a couple good looking new players but there are things I’m skeptical of.
Zero clue how good they truly will be, they were essentially without their 2 all SEC players and that entire lineup all played at a different program essentially the season before so not sure how to truly assess this.
I will say this, they do look more athletic compared to last years group but no one will know truly how good they are until late January. If they don’t leave OOC undefeated LSU will have major problems in SEC play
Carson, Poa and Flaujae stood out to me. LSU should have excellent guard play. Their post play leaves a lot to be desired though once they venture outside of Reese. This is where teams like SC and TN will feast having such an edge inside
I watched AZ last night and they may have looked even worse than LSU. Not impressed either with a team many rate so high

Doubt Tennessee comes out flat for CN. We may not be smooth yet, but effort will definitely be there, we actually have a big game for our next game.I wasn’t impressed at all with LSU.
