Which is why her handling of the Edwards thing is a problem regardless of whether she is right or wrong. She has no capital to spend in that situation. Her recruiting classes are subpar. Kentucky has done her no favors in their handling of NIL. She's already getting burned on recruiting trail for underachieving with Howard. This is just one more obstacle she didn't need.

If the AD is the one making that call her public statements need to reflect that in some manner. Now obviously she can't straight out blame her AD but she's getting raked over her comments at the her last media appearance when she was asked about it.

Unless she's planning on leaving coaching, recruiting issues are going to follow regardless of where's shes at if parents/players don't believe (1) she knows how to utilize and develop talent and (2) she'll put up obstacles if their child decides playing for her isn't in their best interest.

Probably not, but hopefully one or two parents would be impressed with Kyra taking a principled stand. Also that she didn't throw the AD under the bus. Maybe Kyra is just tired of the coaching and recruiting grind. In that video clip she seemed to not give a damn what anyone thought.
