Arkansas was just trying not to foul but kept letting Vandy shoot open shots and they were knocking them down. Gutsy performance as someone else said. Fun game to watch.

I have to feel sorry for Vandy, playing on the road, great difference in fouls called and foul shots, hitting over 50% of 3s and losing on a almost half-court bank shot. Luck does play a part in games (smile) We all remember some such shots made by LV players. (smile)

Didn't watch the Vandy Arkansas game but how did Arkansas get 35 fouls shots wow. I would think they would have to have been trying to go inside but box score says they also shot 23 three shot attempts. With the rebounding and turnovers virtually the foul line was the difference in the game 18 for Vandy and 35 for Arkansas.

Arkansas took a lot of threes, but they also went inside a lot...either Barnum on pick and rolls or Daniels/Spencer on drives. Vandy couldn't really stop them without fouling. Plus, at the end of the game, Vandy was fouling to stop the clock, which accounted for 8 of the attempts.

Yes without Vandy having a shotblocker in the middle Daniels and Spencer was also taking it to the basket. Plus 6-2 Barnum was having her way with Vandy on the inside. Ark next two games coming up we will see if they elect to feed Barnum in the post and have Daniels and Spencer take it to the rack ?.

I think Spencer and Daniels will get their points vs. LSU, but fully expect Poffenbarger and Barnum to get shut down inside again. They lost by like 25 points at home to LSU last time out, so I don't expect their luck to get any better on the road.

Against SC, not sure if the guards will even be able to get free.

As for J. Wolfenbarger i can`t see her returning to Ark next year i just don`t see it.

I agree I think she’s in the portal for sure. Idk what the deal is there but she’s too talented to play this little.

We were in on her and I would not be shocked to see us pursue her again if she were to end up in the portal. She’s very much the kind of player Kellie likes, long, athletic and can shoot. Just needs to get a bit more physical and crash the glass.

Neighbors imo just doesn’t know what to do with a big girl at this point. In his entire career I’ve never seen him improve a big. He’s a great players coach and a guards coach, but doesn’t understand how to develop talent with size.

Dauda needs a lot of work as well and she isn’t going to get it at Arkansas. Don’t be shocked if she’s in the portal also.

He had Chantel Osahor at Washington when they had their good teams but she was the same from freshman to senior year.

I`m not sure she would be a good fit at TN the reason is because, TN already has 6-3 6-4 Justine on the wing and she likes to shoot the 3, Not sure Kellie would want another player at 6-5 shooting 3`s ? someone will need to be inside on the glass. As for Dauda you are spot on.

If she is managed properly she could be a great fit. I’d sell her on sliding in where Jackson slides out. 3 more inches and a better 3 ball? Let her do her damage around the basket for the most part but step out and keep teams honest.

Where is Goforth is she on the injury list?

I believe she is still on their roster but stepped away from basketball this season due to a health issue.

She was struggling was gastroparesis and eating problems. If she’s able to put some weight on and get healthy she may return to Arkansas.

Ok I remember she gave us fits last year in one game kept getting the rebounds. We still won the game but she was outstanding in one of the games.
