Non-Lady Vol Game discussion

Interesting, thanks. I didn't realize academics played a role in it. Truthfully, I didn't think of UConn as being lower on that totem pole than FSU or Miami.

And surely you're including BC as one of those elite ACC academic institutions, right? 👍

For the SEC, I'd guess UGA should be up there academically...maybe UF too?

I actually think it’s UGA and A&M! Not for sure though... really wish I could remember what the type of school is called! And as far as FSU and Miami the almighty dollar and football I’m sure plays a part.

New recruit to check out....

Eniya Russell 5’9” guard Baltimore Maryland 2020.

Averaging 22 points and 5 rebounds per game.

Being recruited by South Carolina, Maryland, Louisville, Kentucky, Georgetown.

Does Georgetown still have a team?

Is it NCSA designation?

Watching UConn on their way to a drilling of Louisville, and I gotta say...those Huskettes can shoot from anywhere on the court.

They could an offensive foul on Hines Allen, and Collier's toes were on the circle. Seriously, what the hell kind of call is that?

Gabby Williams has some serious vertical...

I hate when UConn is fired up...

Louisville scored the first basket of the game on a 3, and has given up the next 19 points.

UConn can sure pass pretty.

Durr needs to get going. She's got nothing going on.

The good news for Louisville is they played UConn mostly even this quarter. They are getting defensive stops, but they need to score. Sam Fuehring cannot be the leading scorer for Louisville if they're to win.

Dangerfield with a three to close the half. UConn up 42-22 at the half. Ouch...

UCONN has made women's basketball boring.

Really? Being a coach I find their style absolutely beautiful. The other teams have made it boring. In fact I wish Tenn was as good as days gone by and the rivalry was renewed.Your post is such a weak response to watching good basketball.

UCONN has made women's basketball boring.

I still think they're beatable. Maybe a Texas or Baylor, or ND in a rematch.

Even though Miss State is easily the 2nd best team in the country and beat UConn last year, they lost too much size to beat them again, I fear. Samuelson would feast on whoever is guarding her, and UConn would kill them on the boards.

Perhaps a flu epidemic can hit Storrs in time for March Madness?

I never said they were not a good basketball team. But no one will beat them this year. And that's boring.

If you like to watch excellent basketball as I do this is not boring at all to me. Their offense and defense is second to none

57-40 UConn after 3. Louisville has kept even since that 1st quarter train wreck. As good as UConn is, they look evenly matched for the last 2 quarters.

Asia Durr has hit some crazy, contested shots this game. She is a great pure offensive player.

Unfortunately, KLS is even better...

UConn wins 69-58. Other than the first quarter, I thought Louisville looked good. They are a solid team. If I were Louisville, I'd walk out feeling I'd have a good chance in a rematch on a neutral court.

Another moral victory post. Good lawd!
If I were Louisville Id work harder. Period. I'm sure they felt good about their chances today.

They came out slow, settled down after a miserable first quarter and outscored UConn the rest of the way on the road. Why wouldn't they walk out thinking that they can beat them should they play again?

"Give up the good shot to get the great shot" Kia Nurse That's why UConn has as many assists as they do

They also make smart passes, and everyone on the team is a good passer.

They are great, but not like when Stewart was there. The gap is not as great as before, so I'm hopeful someone else can grab the title. Maybe Tennessee can become this year's SC? Yeah, I know...but one can dream.
